FLORIDA DISNEY WORLD VLOG: Animal Kingdom, Yak & Yeti Food, Gaylord Palms Tour & Old Town Kissimmee

FLORIDA FEBRUARY 2024 Day Ten! We start our magical day with a wonderful visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. We enjoy a Starbucks coffee to get us going at Creature Comforts before we have a delicious lunch in Yak and Yeti Restaurant, where i enjoyed a Chicken Tikka Massala! We then enjoy rides on Everest, Avatar Pandora Flight of Passage and Kilimanjaro Safaris to see the Animals.
We then head just down the road to Gaylord Palms Resort by Marriott Orlando to look around the hotel and convention centre. We have a look at the Pools, community area, function rooms and the restaurants and Bars. We enjoyed a nice but expensive cocktail in Wreckers Sports Bar.
After a good look around we decide to pop down the road to Old Town in Kissimmee on highway 192. We have a good look around at the attractions, rides, shops, restaurants and Bars before enjoying a much cheaper drink in Sun On The Beach Bar to round off the night!

Knightstrider is by far the best Florida KZfaqr on the box at the moment 🤩 Totally agree with you Andrew about staying at the parks, we find villas much more cost effective and wouldn’t stay anywhere else now (after trying both options) Can’t wait for the next vlog! Re Peter Pan ride , I know what you mean , we queued for over an hour the first time we ever did it and I said well there’s an hour and 15 mins of my life I’m not getting back 😂 great for kids , but not an adult only ride unless a walk-on

Loved seeing the crocodiles. They have always fascinated me with how unreal they look untill they strike for pray or decide to walk or swim. Have you guys every heard a baby croc, they sound adorable with little squeeks, lovely creatures to handle when young in the right environment ❤ enjoyed the animals

Just a quick note to say thank you for the vlogs, they are always really high quality and you always cover interesting stuff. My husband and I are also Florida regulars although we don’t go as often as you guys but your vlogs is what helps me in between the trips! Yak and yeti did look nice but would never eat a meal in the parks , as far too expensive for what they are , we have a snack ( hot dog , sandwich etc ) if we are desperate, but tend to eat a hearty breakfast bad then a decent evening meal somewhere on a night 👍🏻

I remember being on the safari in July 2003 shortly after a lightening strike killed a giraffe. The giraffe portion of the tour was bypassed but you could see the birds of prey (possibly vultures!) circling in the sky.

Tried a pair of on clouds but found them too narrow for my feet and found the soles too firm , sketchers I found were more comfortable , so bought another pair of them instead

For anyone heading to Florida during Spring Break, the state told Spring Breakers (university kids) not to come, to stay away. This should make Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and all of Florida, including the parks, more enjoyable for everyone else. The police will be out in full force. Also, whenever I’m in Florida during winter, everywhere I go, I’ll encounter more Canadians than Americans. A large percentage of homes in Florida are Canadian owned.

You can get parent pass as one of your party enters the normal queue. Just ask the cast member. The second parent goes down the fast pass line with the parent pass once the first parent is off. Hope this helps 😊
