I love these travel day vlogs the most. You seem like such lovely people that we would enjoy being friends with. Ade seems to be so laid back, knowledgeable and thoughtful while Lisa makes a special adventure out of every day whether it be preparing a recipe, cleaning, or flying off for a trip. Thank you both for all your helpful tips and showing us there are still people who are fun while showing kindness to others.

I watched this when it was first dropped thinking oh I’ll never get to go first class and now we’ve booked with a companion seat and points to go upper class on the way out to Disney World. I’m so excited!!

We stay at the Renaissance when we go to Heathrow but it’s because we can park the car for the duration of the trip without having someone park it for you. Feels more secure as you keep your keys. It’s a nice hotel but I was really cold the first time we stayed so I made sure I took extra layers in case. It was fine the second time. We ubered too because the bus was full. Much easier.

We have always stayed in Rosen Inn at pointe in international drive, the rooms are the exact same as the rosen Hotel you are in, they are great rooms, plenty of storage for the 4 of us and the microwave and fridge are so handy, we often heat up left over pizza from pizza hut for breakfast. The rooms are dated but rosen hotels just have everything needed and nice and cheap price too....I hope you have a great holiday, love your vlogs😊

We stopped at that hotel in 1990 & 1998 it was called the Comfort Inn then and Palm Parkway ended at that hotel. It hasn't changed much at all. Loving the vlog

Yeah travel day !🎉 I think you both seemed to of handled your anxiety well, my hubby has anxiety (not just when travelling) so I totally empathise. The food looked lovely , I’ve just seen a clip of the new summer menu which actually starts today , I’m really hoping they have the lobster tortellini option in upper next week 🤞🏻 it’s been really annoying that Virgin has pushed back flight times , our flight isn’t due to land until 5pm now and our return flight doesn’t leave until 11pm , so now lounge access at MCO now 😢 the hotel looks really clean and comfortable , I’m drooling over the IHOP 😋 a great travel day vlog as always, thanks both for sharing x

We stayed in this hotel and were there when you were. Gutted we missed you would have loved to say hi! This hotel is dated but clean and we love it’s location. Our first meal on arrival is always steak tips and eggs at iHop! Looking forward to the rest of the series

The food was so good! It was better than the plane. Actually I’d have preferred to take a doggy bag from the lounge and take on the plane next time 😂

Thank you for the Uber/shuttle bus tip at Heathrow. We're staying in the Bath Road Premier Inn next weekend as a family of 4 and flying VA, so will look at booking an Uber instead of getting anxious over the bus.

I really enjoy ur vlogs and have booked premier Inn because of ur recommendations, great tip about getting uber which I will do as on my own and have 2 suitcases a zimmerframe ,when do u normally book ur uber do u do it in the morning I get anxiety too when travelling. I went last Nov pop century and going again this Nov learnt so much for yourselves really looking forward to seeing the rest of ur vlogs xx

Thanks Caroline. So glad the videos have been helpful. We've always booked the uber just as we needed it and it was 2 mins away. However if you feel nervous, we booked a taxi for my Mum the night before at the Premier Inn as she was worried like you. I asked the hotel staff about a recommended taxi company and they showed me to a phone by the checkin area and it went straight through to the taxi and I booked it and it was the same price as the uber. This may suit you better xx

Share you’re regret of never flying Concord,sad day when they stopped flying those Speedbirds.Think the tip is not to overindulge at breakfast in the lounge leaving plenty of room for the gateaux.Loving the upgrade car to a Lincoln that’s a nice ride might even have air suspension.

Really sad I agree. We are actually pleased we ate in the lounge as we were quite underwhelmed with the food onboard. The gateaux was a very bitter mousse and no cake. Was gutted!! The food in the lounge was so good!!

Looks like u had a nice travel day. We are staying at that Premier Inn again in a couple of weeks , it's good knowing there could be cocktails happy hour 😀. We park in the Purple Parking for the duration so get the free transfer in the morning and return works out well. Never done virgin as yet as we have BA Amex, shop through BA Shop and collect points that way. We do alot of EU trips so can use the points for that. Our next Orlando trip is September and we have used Avios and money , ok it's economy but a real good deal Never been to Rosen , stayed in a Marriot before when we first went , villas are our usual accommodation. Look forward to the rest of the series ❤

Ade here. I found enough room, but was snug, more cosy I would say. I really liked stretching my legs out! I know this layout is the ‘old’ A330, and the new A330 neo that Virgin use have sitting next to each other, but not sure if there is more room on the new plane. I know that plane is flown on the Tampa route. We can’t of course comment on the A350 as not seen that Upper Class. Hope that helps 😊🤍

We did the same as you for our next trip in January using a companion voucher with Virgin Miles but decided to fly out with Prem and back with Upper as its easier to sleep on a night flight. Interesting about booking food in advance as never done that before. Can you pre book prem too?

We had older Samsonite before this trip and although still 4 wheels they were so heavy to push. So we bought American Tourist new for this trip and they feel like a dream.

Yes, the day we got home. So on edge too. But couldn’t stop watching. I’ve wondered since if that actually made my anxiety so much worse on the flight 😂

Hi. We’re good thanks. And you? If we’ve been 1kg or possibly 2kg over they will automatically put a ‘heavy sticker’ on the luggage. We have had it when we have travelled home we have been asked to take stuff out and think that was about 3kg over. Even though one of our other cases would be under weight. I’d always take luggage scales, and trips after that we paid for an additional bag, as it reduced the stress. 😊

I love a good travel day vlog. Is upper class like business class? I have not heard of it before. It looked good. but I am not sure about having to travel sideways. I have seen some that are actually facing backwards on other planes. The thought of that makes me feel travel sick (I do sometimes get travel sick on planes, but it is only when my sinuses get blocked. Once we landed in Boston and I almost threw up as we were just waiting to get off the plane. As soon as I was out of the plane I felt fine. That was horrible.) Travel anxiety is the worst. I was feeling anxious with you just watching you on the vlog. I don't have any trips planned at the moment but I do want to go to the UK in 2025. (I am going to go solo!) I want to spend my birthday there. :) (I am in Australia)

Hi, upper is virgins first class. The seating arrangement depends on the aircraft type. Travel sickness must be awful. You are so brave traveling all that way alone!! Xx

I suffer terribly flying. My anxiety starts when I book and my hands turn to claws in pain with fear when on the flight. But it’s all worth it ❤ I force myself to the toilet once an hour, more toilet trips I know I’m closer to the destination xx

@@AdeandLisa i have 4 children so need to keep going and not ruin things for them. Florida is worth it though, hoping to head back in September😊 my husband is great and makes sure the kids are ok while I go in my own wee world. My 12yr old son and I live your vlogs 💖

I don't often watch anything on a flight. I will just sit there for the duration as I can't concentrate. But as I love that kind of movie I actually thought it would help keep my mind busy. So wrong!! I think looking back it made the anxiety so much worse LOL I know for next time 😂

Does this mean we the unvaxed can fly to Florida now, 75yr now 2019 last time there, I used to be on the first summer flight every year until lockdown, I was packed ready to fly, didn't think BOJO would be so stupid
