relax bro, most folks including myself grew up with trailers calling themselves cinematic and they were all pre-rendered. We are now to the point where ingame is just as good. WOW!

Yeah, I'm about 90% certain it was in-engine. If you compare it to Read Dead Redemption 2's trailers, it's more than realistic for this to be in-engine, given that it's on current-gen consoles.

Yeah real time raytracing. U can even see when further objects come closer how the rays get more and more (the reflection become less grainy). Also every car mirror worked. U can see anti liasing on the women in the pool, so its 100% in engine

They hate us and want to take us for all we got, but I am willing to do it for GTA and GTA only. I'll buy it for ps5, ps6 and then pc. If it came out on pc on release, I would only buy it once and they know it.

Imagine telling someone on console to just buy a pc and wait for a console release to come out, they would be outraged lol. That can get pretty expensive also. No it's not. STALKER 2 has already displayed far more advanced tech with way more demanding graphics and their first trailer was gameplay. The physics in this game will also most likely not match the real time physics of Tears of the Kingdom.

@@Nannd11 @1:58 bottom middle of you're screen to the right of a small pod of dolphins, you can see a shark nearby & then very quickly @1:59 you can see a very large shark close to a swimmer in the surf close to shore a little to the bottom right, it kinda looks like it was going to attack, they also look like they might be tiger sharks. If you pause it you should be able to see it better.

Exactly, the hair looks nearly identical in the cutscenes of the trailer as it is in Red Dead Redemption 2’s hair shines/shimmer. This is obviously the Rage engine showing it’s peak.

Hi! I should have explained better and now I understand this. When I said "cinematic" I meant it purely as a story driven video narrative- because in-game cutscenes by definition are still cinematics. My statement should have been worded as "This is a narrative driven trailer so I'm very interested to see the gameplay itself or what the transfer from cutscene to gameplay is like." Unfortunately, I widely misjudged that the audience would know that cutscenes, even in-game, are still considered cinematics and I misspoke in that sense. I really should have worded it as "the cutscenes look great, but I'm excited to see gameplay" to limit confusion, but sometimes you just don't think about these things when you're trying to rapid post after a 4 hr stream. While it did lead to a bunch of unintentional comment farming, but it really wasn't my intention to confuse some people who, due to former industry norms, really do think that "cinematic trailer" means "cgi trailer"

You’re wrong …what you get is better than the trailer 🤯 I bet the game will look even better. Same thing happened with RDR 2 , the trailer had low res textures than the actual game

But later they had to remove a lot of it to keep performance on old consoles. Don't know where u seen low res textures in rdr2 but I assume you maybe compering old consoles vs pc release

First game I ever pre-ordered was gta 5 and we had to do it back then or we might not have gotten a copy on release. Me and my brother both pre-ordered it so we could play it one room apart from each other lol
