Thank you very much for all the information about this cross stitch stand! I have been thinking for a while about getting one. You provided a lot of good information so thank you again!

Thanks for this video. I need my stand to be high like yours because I get neck and shoulder pain as well. I have an Elan Lapstand that I have a love , hate relationship with 😅.

Yeah it's so difficult to find a good stand and avoid pain, it took me hours and hours of research to find the right height. I don't understand why there are not more higher stands. I use some big old books to put a stand on if it is too low. Happy Stitching!

Hallo from Belgium toLea and all the others ! I also have a Lowery standard, and he is FANTASTIC!! I use him in combination with Ormanic frame’s (also fantastic!), and Q snaps and normal round hoops. 👋🧵

Thank you for this video, it's very helpful. I've decided to get a Lowery, but I will have to save for a couple months to get it. I'm going to buy a new project first. Anyway, my favorite stand has been a K's Creations original lap frame. I've had her floor frame, too, the all wooden one, and it was also a great frame, but of limited use.

Thank you for sharing your set up. Ordered a Lowery with an extension rod so hopefully my stitching will go faster & i'll have less back/joint pain. 😊

You won't regret it, it helped me so much with my back pain! It took a while to get the right height but since then I never had pain from stitching again! Happy Stitching!

Well done. I loved my first Lowery so much, I ended up buying a second for the cabin. I didn't buy the extender, but my husband was able to make me one. I didn't need anything for the one at the cabin. I like your daisy tray. I'd be interested to see how you feel about it after you've had a chance to use it for awhile.

That's the best, when you can diy the extender! The price is ridiculous but I don't have the tools to do that. Great that you like it so much, too! I will absolutely do updates on the regular flosstube episodes that are coming up :)

Thanks! curious; What do you do for lighting/magnification on this stand?

I know this was some years ago but do you happen to remember the size of the box it came in?

I ordered lowery with extended L bar and I also use q-snaps. I have hard time using it, because it moves with every stitch, just like in your video. It makes me dizzy. Did you find a way to make it more stable? Or is it ok for you to use it like this?

Hi Vita, I put a heavy Book on top of the plate thing, and it doesn't move anymore :)

Great review, what are you stitching?

It is Murky Manor by Glendon Place :)

That was a really well done review. I've been interested in the Lowry stand but I'm not sure it would work for my Stitchy spot. It wouldn't be able to sit next to me and cross in front of me like you have it. It would have to sit in front of me and extend straight towards me. Do you think it would work like that?
@learevenga5 жыл бұрын
Then it's not the stand for you, it can only extend from the side. you might want to take a look at the monstrik by omanik :)

DesertStitcher I have used the Lowery stand (with short L) in front of me for many years and never had a problem. The only thing different for me is I have to push the stand away from me when I want to get up from my chair. I am so used to doing it now that it doesn’t bother me.
