Thank you for your Canadian-centric Flosstube and the mention of other Canadian Flosstubers and designers! I'm a dual citizen living in the US and it is so frustratingly hard to find Canadian designs - even by Canadian designers! Thank you for bringing attention to the designs out there. I must find the montage. It is incredible! 🏒🥌🍁

Hi Arica! Your Celestial Dragon is gorgeous. I’ve started that project twice and now I’m thinking I should get it back out. @@FibersandFlossCanada how kind of you to assume there was planning involved. I taught myself how to stitch and just didn’t know. I never finished any of these projects mostly because I was a kid and also because I, for some reason, jumped right into hard mode Teresa Wentzler kits. I still have all of them in my craft dungeon and I still have the pattern books, but I think I would restart. I should dig them all out and look at them.

You've made us all so happy by washing the Angel! She is so beautiful! The side-by-side shows how the colors indeed have intensified. It's like the results of a museum cleaning a painting! I had a friend who collected antique clothing. She swore by ruthlessly cleaning the heck out of old fabric that other people might think was too fragile. So I was delighted you went with laundry detergent. And the OxiClean was inspired. The work bag you made is adorable. Love the fabrics you chose.

How fortunate to have a kindred spirit in Samantha, who has your back. I’m wondering if you’ve had a chance to view any of The Comfort Stitcher’s episodes, especially the one that has a meditation session? Angel of Spring! OMG! I did her for my Mom in....1999??? Can't remember. I also did Angel of the Sea for my sister and put my niece and nephew's names on it, like a baby announcement sort of. My oldest WIP is Winter Queen from 2002. I'm sure that you can fix the project that you have to frog. Sometimes the stitching Gods are against us. I have also run up against the quilting Gods with the same results. Time outs are necessary. The frog project is awesome! Excellent quilting job.

Erica I always love watching your videos. You are my inspiration to keep on stitching. Your angel cleaned up amazingly and colors are so much more vibrant. I can’t wait to see it all finished. Your frog bag is so adorable, I love it bad words and all. Your dragon piece is so stunning, I don’t know if I would have the patience to do a piece like that. I totally understand the frogging part. I’ve done the same thing by going over it with right color and luckily it didn’t look bulky. I’ve even gone back and stitch over a bad stitch because I didn’t want to tip everything out. I could never notice it when it was complete. You do what makes you happy and don’t stress out, this is suppose to be our happy place. Looking forward to your next FlossTube when ever that happens❤❤

Hello Arica! First of all great finish with the froggy project 🐸 Second, it's so impressive how different the "Angel of Spring" looks, it's a totally different project, maybe not perfect but certainly good enough to worth your time and effort to finish it, in my opinion! 😇 Also I wanted to say, please don't push yourself to the point that you'll want to stop doing altogether all the fun things you do, fun for us and hopefully fun for you too😁 I mean, I've said many times how much I enjoy watching your videos but it's not that you HAVE to do them! Your family and your personal well being is more important and if you are well and you feel well, and you have some time and you WANT to make a video for us that's really great too!!! So, take care of yourself, enjoy, rest a bit and we'll be here whenever you feel like making a new video! Might we meet each other at the Midsummer Stitch event or probably it's impossible with the time difference? But you never know 😍🛋🍷🧵🪡🤞

Hello Arica, if it really bugs you then frog it or fudge it. However perfection belongs to God ( Persian saying) so often the carpet weavers often put a "mistake" in the carpet weave to keep the evil eye away from their work. It becomes a feature that you often hunt for. Just putting a different perspective out there. Have I frogged a project because it bugged me? Heck yes.....have I left something too to ward off the evil eye 🧿 um yes to that too. As ever I love your projects. And yes Enjoying the stitch is really important. I love seeing you and having a morning coffee with you, but would hate it if you burnt out. If you need to step back a little go for it, summer is a busy time anyway with holidays and kids and extreme short staffing at work....Yes please to your 103 EF HATS conversion if you wouldn't mind.Hugs and love

Chris crossstitch always calls his subscribers etc 'neighbours ' and the community as the neighbourhood. I agree it's a very appropriate term. How do you get your Mirabilia coverage to look so good? I'm stitching a bewitching pixie on 32 count Feldspar by Picture This Plus, a supposedly 'tight' fabric but am getting terrible show through of the fabric among the stitches. Regardless of using 2 threads . I've tried different tension but nothing seems to alter it. More apparent with black ( tried anchor and Sulky) but occurs with other colours too. Any suggestions appreciated as I'm ready to chuck it🤬.

Thank you!! I forgot Chris calls everyone his neighbours too! I def need to catch up with him as it’s been too long :( For Mira’s, I have never had show through. Can you counted out your 32 ct fabric do make sure that’s what it actually measures?? I’d start there bc I suspect it’s not a 32 ct… see if you have 16 stitches in 1 inch… let me know what you have!
