I had my 50 year old floaters removed last year , the year before I had my cataract surgery. Unbelievable what can be done today ! Hope your eyes get much clearer!

Yes, extremely windy spring here in central Indiana as well! I love your finishes, and your stitching, we have the same taste! My husband is currently doing a series of scattered seeds samplers. He has probably stitched five of them so far and the vintage pin keep that you showed is the one he’s currently working on. I have finished Plum St American Sampler! It’s a fun stitch! I finished the patriotic Quaker one last week, and it is gorgeous and works up extremely fast! Prayers for your eye issues and your husbands!

Really enjoyed seeing all your stitching! Sorry to hear about your eye issues. I had surgery for a macular hole last year, which sounds very similar to the procedure you described. The surgery wasn’t that bad - it doesn’t hurt at all, which was a nice thing to realize! I’d be happy to tell you all about it if you want to DM me. My vision is not perfect, even after the cataract surgery, but it’s good enough to stitch so I can live with it. Hope yours corrects on its own so you can avoid it.

How surprised I was when you mentioned Burlington, Wisconsin. I was born and raised in Burlington, and my sister still lives there. I live in Elkhorn which is about 13 miles from there. The projects you do are always so wonderful and wonderfully done. I enjoy doing quilting, punch needle, wool applique and cross stitching. There's always something to work on.

I had cataract surgery on January 23 of this year. It didn't go well. I can't see out of my left eye. I am due to have laser surgery on June 6. Only 25% that will work. Then surgery in hospital. My len slipped off and I developed scar tissue. So I know what you are going thru. Hope yours gets better. You got alot of great stitching. Enjoyed this video!
