I am care giver to my parents, my dad is in assisted living and my mom is home. I am blessed to care for them, and this summer it will be nice just hanging out on the porches of both places enjoying the summer weather with them both. I just got home from a college graduation trip to Flagstaff AZ for my great-niece. So very proud of her. While there, I got to spend time with my brothers, which was great. I just plan on enjoying my craft room and seeing what all I can accomplish this Summer. 1,2,7,8

This summer I am attending Stitch Con in Cincinnati, and I am also attending a quilting retreat in July. I was supposed to attend a wedding in NC in august, but the couple was involved in an accident and their injuries won't allow them to travel by then so that trip is on hold. I will be spending a lot of time relaxing at cottage enjoying boat rides and sandy beaches.1,

Our summer plans right now are, going to Idaho on June 7th-13th to see my son and his girlfriend before they move to Finland. Then June 23rd we are going to North Carolina to surprise my one son for his 40th birthday and see my daughter-in-law and my grandson and granddaughter. Then also see my other son and daughter-in-law that also live there. Then come back home on July 7th. Would love 1 2 5 6 7 8 9. Loved seeing everything you got from your retreat❤

What a wonderful retreat. I love how you repeated this is a hobby and we can stitch and change what we want. I am often hesitant to change colors. We take short driving trips during the summer. Our first one will be Richmond, British Columbia Canada for their night market shopping. I would like to stitch 3

My summer plans have changed as I’m scheduled for carpal tunnel surgery in 2 weeks. I was really looking forward to summer stitching and sewing but it has become necessary. Hoping to get some 4th of July pieces finished before that happens! Hopefully I won’t miss too many days stitching. Brenda’s new 4th patterns are so pretty! Love seeing all the things. I live just an hour and a half a way from there and it is fun to know that stitchers that I love watching had a good experience at a place that is special to me. I love the pillow finishes in your dough bowl. I taught school when my 4 kids were little and I know you are exhausted. I am amazed at all you juggle to accomplish everything. I have several patriotic pieces kitted but am having a block. H ope that ends soon. 2 3 4 5 6 8. We are staying close to home. With day trips with our younger grands aged 11 & 12. Should be interesting. Maybe a museum of technology lol.

Great retreat recap. I love your dough bowl and really appreciate that you redid some of your FFO's to match your updated style. So many beautiful patterns! I love, love, Love all of your patriotic bread bowl finishes. Super adorable! 😍 I'll be done with school June 14th, meanwhile it's inventory and weeding the library! And begging students to bring in all their books. Summer will be painting the house, then a trip to Reno, Wisconsin, Albuquerque then home to San Diego! Enjoy a week off, and begin school again! I don't really have any plans for this summer. My mother & sister were going to come visit me in Wichita, Kansas, from Tucson, AZ during the last part of June. My sister told me last night that they might have to wait til Oct. My mother will be turning 95 in July. I would love for her to see her grandchildren (my 3 kids) plus her great grandchildren (my grandchildren), at least, one more time. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

You are a great mom. Spending time with your kids, just being there, will be great for both you and the kids. I am going to Ohio for July. I live in Michigan and go to see my son in July for the month. He lives close to Keepsakes and he drops me off, what he calls stitchy daycare, on Wednesdays so I can stitch with the ladies group there. 1, 2, 3, 4. 7, 8.

We are big travelers retired life , day trips. Enjoy your children while they are young. Whenever possible be home. There is so much to keep us busy as a wife and mother anyway. Why add a job to the mix. That just causes us to eat out more and the extra money never seems to help where it’s needed. I enjoyed your flosstube. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 .

You are such a pleasure. Thank you. My summer plans are to start and finish radiation treatments and then recuperate from any fatigue. I had a partial mastectomy in April, then scans and tests etc show no trace left anywhere , but I'm doing radiation as some "insurance" against recurrence. So prognosis excellent! I'll be done with treatments before my 70th birthday and should be all recuperated by our September Rhine River Cruise! Numbers 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are appealing
