I totally agree with your opinion about the Prairie Schooler reproduced charts. Not only are they on cheap, flimsy paper, but the print quality is not good. The print is not very dark, so not very easy for me to see. They could - and should - do a better job!

Hi Deanna! I was at weekend A, so sorry I missed meeting you in person! Ohio was the 17th state admitted into the Union, red carnation is the state flower and cardinal the state bird, also the Wright brothers were from Dayton Ohio so that is the reason for the plane. Love seeing all your thrift and antique finds! Hope both of you get some relief for your backs, this getting old stuff is not for sissies! Happy, happy birthday, enjoy your special day!

The "sugar shaker" is likely a muffineer, used to shake powdered sugar on muffins and waffles at the breakfast table. There's a thifter out of Philadelphia named Scott and his channel is the Old Curiosity Shop. I've learned alot from watching him, while i stitch of course 😂! But you might enjoy that channel, he finds fantastic things in thrift stores and flea markets and he mostly deal in items from the first half of the 20th century, the 20s-60s. I enjoyed seeing your projects and finds.
