Your biscornu is gorgeous. I'm taking Liz's tree finishing class, but I might have to miss the live. We have our annual church ladies Christmas tea that morning and my great niece's 2nd birthday party in the afternoon. Of course those weren't planned when I signed up. I also don't have my stitching done, so I'll be making one out of cotton fabrics. I'm still very excited to learn the techniques. It was really good to see you again. I love that you're model stitching, that's awesome. 🐝

Lovely projects as always. Loving your tree! I'm taking that class too, but I really don't think I'll be finished as my kids keep getting all the colds at school. Your model stitching looks fantastic, that fabric! 😍 I was hoping to jump on the Sarah Moon SAL as it's gorgeous, but life got in the way... maybe I'll get there on the next full moon. 🐝

Thanks for sharing your projects, they are lovely and a fun variety. I put away a few projects at Thanksgiving as they're earmarked as gifts for family members here for the feast, and so I got back to two other projects that have no deadline but I'm in love with and now don't want to put down! I did get started on finishing several ornaments that I want to gift this season, also. I'll be at the Jingle Ball and am excited for that and the start of the Evertote/Roxy Floss/MFE Holiday Countdown December 1. It's a great stitching season, and I hope your December is everything you want it to be! 🐝

🐝Hey, there! Love all your stitching and enthusiasm. We had a great Thanksgiving - very quiet and low-key - perfect! I'm busy stitching on Jingle Ball prep - taking Misty Purcell's ornament finishing class and Janette Douglas' specialty stitches class. Also hope to take Jodi's perf. paper ornament finishing class as well. Plan to start on the Bake me a Quaker SAL with Sunshine Stitchers on 12/1 and the Queenstown Sampler SAL with Sassy Jacks. Also want to firm up plans for 2024. Happy stitching to you

🐝Love everything as usual! You have the most beautiful wips and projects! I hope the classes go well at the Jingle Ball! I am working on Teresa Kogut’s “Joyful Scene” and it is a really fun stitch! Hoping to start a few more projects in the coming days! My New Years start will be The Smith Sampler so looking forward to that as well! Thanksgiving was nice and quiet; went to see the movie Napoleon, which I thought was pretty good! Love Vanessa Kirby in it; she stole the movie in my opinion! Thanks again for sharing with us! Your videos are always so much fun. And I added You again to my reading list. This week I finished listening to Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld. Don't know if I had gotten the recommendation off you or not. But if you have not read it - it's a modern time retelling of Pride and Prejudice and is a nice light read. 🐝

Hi from a fellow Texan (now living in Tennessee)! 🐝 I’ve been using Notion to track my hobbies, including cross stitch too! Tracking my hobbies is one of my hobbies. 😂 My current project is cross stitch ornaments for my soon-to-be in-laws. Full steam ahead on that to get them ready for Christmas!

🐝I will always watch your video to the end! Love your content....Happy Holidays! I just started reading Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. It is very good so far. I will be stitching on a few SALs for December. I am starting a stocking with Gary and Ronnie from GaRon Stitchery. I have the 2023 Countdown from Evertote and Roxy Floss Co, and I also have the Christmas Carol from Forbidden Fiber. My December will be taken up with those 3 SALs (the stocking is a year long SAL). In addition to that I will be working on a few of my other WIPs in between (to break up the Christmas vibe a bit).

Working on a small Turkey from Just cross stitch magazine, I gave one away so making another: Trying not to start anything new as want to do 12 starts of christmas in December. Really should concentrate on fully finishing as have quite a few projects building up that need it.

Aww, thank you! I actually can't link this sweater, it came from Costco a few months back! I'm not sure if they've still got it since they rotate out clothing so much!

Love The Swan Tree! 🐝 Weyward has been on my Libby holds for forever, and I might just *gasp* use an audible credit for it, haha! I’ll have to check out The Hacienda. I DNFed Mexican Gothic but am considering a second chance on that one, so we’ll see. I am currently listening to Fourth Wing and am surprised by it. Not my genre, but it’s entertaining.

I also DNFed Mexican Gothic! After reading the Hacienda it just felt like the same book but with training wheels on! Weyward is so good though, definitely worth the credit lol!

🐝🐝🐝 Also I'd like to highly recommend the Tales of a New World series by PC Cast if you've never tried it. I found the first one just at a library after relocating and thought "I'll try this" then was sucked in so fast I read the next 2 just to find out the final book wasn't even out yet. (They're all out now) Great fantasy/post apocalyptic world building, just amazing characters you fall in love with. Just so freaking moving. Some heavier topics occasionally, so look for triggers/tags but so freaking good.

I started Witches in the Air from Notforgotten Farms on Halloween with the intention of stitching until I finished. It looks like I will be able to finish by November 30…yeah! I am, however, VERY tired to stitching with black. 🐝

Xone of Contention by Piers Anthony. I haven't read it or the series it is from but it might not be a bad choice if you just need a book that starts with X. Otherwise, I always recommend The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch.

Your stitching is lovely and yes I get it…I am stitching one over one on 28 count and it is slow going in a hoop but I don’t want it huge and two over two. Perhaps we will run into each other at the Jingle Ball.

🐝 I am stitching on a Nightmare before Christmas pattern that I am somewhat obsessed with since it is so close to a finish. Meanwhile, I Should be doing Xmas cleaning/decorating so it is finished before the Jingle Ball. X) I really could stitch on this tend buuut apparently not.. I did read the blurb on that romantic vampire crush book during my one day 'weekend' trip last week, where I ended up with 6 books despite being crap at reading. Gotta horde my pretty books.

Have you read Remarkably Bright Creatures? This was a good slump buster for me. I was unsure of it by the book description but a friend recommended it and I really enjoyed it.

It's probably a morgan hoop! The 7inch and 9inch morgan hoops are my absolute favorite! I used to use a bunch of different frames, but these days it's either in hand or with one of those!

I have not beaded before so I'm a bit nervous. I'm reading a series I'm totally addicted to. Not a new one. The Lucky Santangelo series by Jackie Collins. I am on the 5th of I think 11. The first one is called "Chances". Check it out. ❤
