I felt that I was watching an old dear friend! A+ ! The Christmas Moose was stunning! Every WHIP that you showed was incredible! Wonderful update! I love the projects you’re working on. And I’m thankful your kitty is okay now! My cat used to pull sewing pins out of my pin cushion when she was a kitten, but never actually swallowed any. I’m glad the doctors were able to help!

I keep my sewing room door closed but my kitties are talented... They know how to reach up and open the door handle lol! Debra, so glad Mr Whiskers is ok. My little Paisley was ill earlier this year and we had no idea what was happening so we rushed her to our vet. They took x-rays and sent us to the emergency vet and emailed them the x-rays. The issue was they emailed the wrong x-rays and I was told that my little kitty had a needle in her stomach. I was devastated and Hubby was giving me the look like how could you not keep your needles safe. After a few hours of thinking I would never stitch again, we got a call that they had received the wrong x-rays and Paisley did not have a needle in her stomach. I wanted to kill our Vet when I found out about the mistake! They never did figure out what made her so sick and it cleared up in a few days. ok, long story..lol. Your stitching is beautiful and that Moose! So adorable!! The Chatelaines are stunning!! Jen Upton and I both purchased that flying Owl this year. It needs to be a SAL! Hopefully sometime next year. I'm so glad Mr Whiskers is ok now! I had a similar thing happen to me about a while ago. I was learning to crochet, left for a minute, and a metre's length of yarn was missing. My cat was there, and was licking her lips cheerfully. I took her to the hospital, and they made her vomit, and the yarn came out. Nowadays I'm hysterical about my needles and threads :D. Btw, I own that same owl kit, I also ordered from Russia. It is so huge and dark colours... but really stunning when finished!

I watched you this morning for the first time (I'm going back to see them all :) ). You're channel name caught my eye because I live in AZ, too...although I'm guessing we're quite a ways from each other. I'm in NW AZ. We had a similar situation years and years ago with our then-kitty. He ate my floss I had forgotten that I left on the arm of my stitching chair and it had wrapped around his tongue at one end and the other end was almost out his butt. It took vets to finally figure out that's what was wrong with him because he couldn't eat or drink for a few days. One vet said he had the flu. We took him to a different vet and he found the cause and they did surgery to remove it. Poor kitty. He was cut from one end of his belly to the other! I never left my floss like that again...and still don't. I love all the things you're stitching and the moose is amazing. I'm mostly a sampler stitcher but I enjoy seeing what other people are doing. Hope you're back soon :)

I’m working on bull winkle right now. I ordered it when you showed it way back when. I changed the fabric to linen and matched the threads as close as I could with DMC for mine. My daughter wants to do it too so she will get the kit. He’s so cute! Mine will be a lot smaller than yours because my linen is 32 count. Love the framing your magic framer did for you. He’s such a talent! Nice to see you back and glad your kitty is okay. We have dogs and they don’t even think to investigate my stitching.

I just discovered you, hooray! and really enjoyed watching your video. I particularly love that Christmas Gnome you're working on, he looks very Scandi. Here in Denmark we call them 'nisse' and they are cheeky little elves who live in barns and attics and get up to mischief, and at Christmas you have to give them risengrød (rice porridge) otherwise you get bad luck all year! And that's more than you ever wanted to know, right?!😂 I'm glad your cat was ok after his adventure.

Oh, and by the way.. I have sewn a channel top and bottom of my fabric so I just slide into the Omanik frame each time.

You are definitely the Queen of the Chatelaines. I wanted to ask, when you work on the sides, do you turn it over to have the side facing you (upright) or do you work on it as you would a regular cross stitch piece. I imagine that you don't turn it over because perhaps the direction of the crosses would change but I'm curious. I'm so glad your cat was not permanently harmed. I don't have any pets but anytime I throw out a needle or pin of any kind I always wrap it in tape because of the cats and dogs that may scavenge in the garbage. Love your videos and the pieces you select to stitch. They are beautiful. Finally, I wanted to say that you have beautiful hands.
