Wow...I am always so enabled by your videos Christine because I want to Stitch all the things!! Your quilting is simply gorgeous...we have spent our summer moving things to our cabin in the mountains of North Georgia. We will be living here full time soon. Although I would really love to spend Christmas with my family at the beach 😊

Hi Christine! Your quilts are so beautiful. The project bag for Amy and Memory’s retreat is so darn cool! This summer has been really nice and filled with a lot of baseball games for our 15 grandson. We so love to watch him play. We kicked off the Sumer with a cruise to Bermuda for our 40th anniversary in June. What a great time! Hope you have an amazing two weeks filled with a lot of stitching and sewing 💙 Christmas 🎄 Beach 🏖️

Thank you as always for a wonderful video! For my birthday my adult children booked a weekend excursion to the beach in Waldport OR. Had a lovely time and got to visit Acorn and Threads for my first time in Portland OR. Love the project folder, it’s fantastic! Look forward to your next video!

Hi Christine and pups :) Your hair looks great . . . That Project Holder is awesome. You are so talented ! ! I'm glad you enjoyed the Sleep At Home Retreat. I really need one of those - as soon as I get my quilty/craft room put together. Your quilts are beautiful. My favorite is the Patriotic one - no wonder the Mr loves it. The Beach Chart is awesome. I decorate a couple of my bathrooms in Beach themed decorations ! It would fit in perfectly.

Your quilts look great! The quilt will look so good in your husband’s office! My son got me a light box on my birthday like you recommended for quilting appliqué. I am about to dive into it. I have been printing off the free patterns that Buttermilk Basin has and I am going to order a small kit from them this week. Beach Thank s for the bag! I have been wanted to get one of them.

Christmas is coming so fast. I have finished the stitching on 1 of 3 Shepherds Bush Stockings. The second one is about a third of the way completed. I went to Branson, Missouri the first part of August. While the family was at the amusement park I went to a stitching shop and spent way to much. Then I followed that up by going to a quilt shop. Didn’t do quite so much damage there. I also went and saw Sound of Freedom it was such a great movie. You got so much finished. I am impressed. Oh I also finished my daughter in laws quilt and delivered it. Will send you a picture. Have a great couple of weeks.

I’m ready for a beach week….needing a break from normal life. I went to stitch con B this summer…first cross stitch retreat. Fingers crossed to get in for next year! I’m obsessed with Hands Across the Sea charts at the moment. Working on several of those!

The patriotic sampler quilt looks so nice! The one for the Mister’s office is great, Christine! Still amazed at that backing seam!! 😮 Beach 🏖️ 😊 I went to my first cross stitch retreat in July, and it definitely won’t be my last! I’ve gone to quilt retreats before, which are a lot of work to get ready for and set up at. I’m going to Anabella’s virtual pop up retreat in October. That will be my first virtual one.

Hi Christine. I did my first sleep in your bed retreat a couple weeks ago. We could do 1, 2 or 3 days. No meals 9 am to 9 pm. $10 for 1 day or $20 for 2-3 days. I went with a friend and we did do 2 days but we go a good distance so we did rent a motel room. What a blast. I got a lot done. Christmas Beach. Have a great week.

Christmas at the beach would be the best of both worlds!! This summer my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at sea! We went to the east and west Caribbean. The best part was the dolphin experience in Honduras. Our dolphin’s name was Elle and we were able to pet her belly as she swam by. She did tricks and gave us a kiss for a photo shoot. Such fun. It wasn’t done in a pool, it was done in the ocean. She is not captive but a free dolphin she goes out to hunt in the evening and comes back in the morning. She had a baby with her and swam away durning one of her tricks to retrieve her baby because it was going where it wasn’t supposed too, I know this because she was very boisterous. It was such fun and very memorable.

He passed away in January, my siblings and I are going to place his ashes and visit with his family on the reservation to celebrate his life. Thank you for the condolences though.

Love everything that you have done these past 2 weeks, you got a lot accomplished and a retreat!!! Love the patriotic quilts with applique and the one for your hubby's space is wonderful! I would love to spend Christms at the Beach because 2 of my favorite things together. Glad to hear that you will be able to spend some time with Josh when his is in port, great to be able to catch up in person. Have a great 2 weeks, can't wait to see what you accomplish. Littermate syndrome is real and it can get nasty (Ours was situated around food and both are easily 50 pounds of muscle.). Thankfully, it does ease off.

I'm glad to hear that it eases a bit! Ours do okay most of the time, even with Whiskey dominating for attention, but when any other person or animal comes around is when things get bad. We tend to just keep them away from other animals and separated around other people to calm things down.

I have been trying to listen to this video while watching my 22 month old and 3 yr old grandsons. But I must confess, it was HARD to do. Thank you for the You Are My Sunshine chart. Glad I listened to this a third time on my drive to work after watching the boys. I’d rather be on be on a beach in the winter and home in time for Christmas.
