Congrats on all the great things! And i'm sorry about your eyes;.I lost many months of stitching about 20 years ago (Okay, feeling old) by overdoing it with my hands, so I learned early on the need for breaks for our bodies!

I suffer from dry eye syndrome due to Sjogren’s Syndrome. I also have glaucoma, and my left eye with glasses is 20-200. I use 3 different eye drops a day. I stitch on Aida, and I still enjoy stitching. It needs to be daytime, and I have a strong light right over my stitching. I also find stitching on light-colored fabric helps. I pray for your eyes and your continued enjoyment of stitching.

At least we are entering spring and longer days so hopefully so some sunny days with lighter evenings will give you some stitching opportunities x

Congratulations on the wedding brilliant news roll on May. I also suffer with dry eye, it's never got as bad as yours though, sorry you went through that. On top of the drops when you stabilise it I use something called Optase which are hydobeads. I use it before I fall a sleep they help the tear ducts ask your optician. Xx

Good luck with everything and I hope your eyes recover soon. I’ve had a detached retina which needed emergency surgery, and scleritis - I think most people take their eyes for granted until something happens to them. I can’t imagine not being able to cross stitch (or see my children), risk of losing your sight is such a worry.

I have dry eye disease too. It does affect my stitching. Can't stitch too much. Very sad 😢. Sorry but you will adjust.
