My eyes changed in my first trimester with my last baby. It was so bad I had to get new glasses. I hoped they would go back after I had her, but my eyes got a little bit worse. I am older than you (I was 37 when I was pregnant with her), but yes, it's another thing people don't talk about a lot with pregnancy and birth. I got transition glasses for less than $100 on Zenni without insurance, when the shop quoted me 300 with insurance. I hope your eyes go back on their own, but if they don't, getting new glasses was a total gamechanger for me. ❤🌎

I love Zenni! Definitely will order from them again. I swear my eyes have never been worse even close up vision is just not as good as it was before. Really hoping my vision somewhat returns to normal even though normal with me is still bad eyes LOL.

Lovely stitches, as always. The eye thing is true. When I had my son 41 years ago, I had never worn glasses. When I returned to work, my vision was blurry. I went to an ophthalmologist and when I mentioned I had just had a baby, he went on and on how sometimes your vision really messes up for a while, and it would return to normal in time. Of course he said it in medical jargon, but that was the gist. Just be patient and enjoy your 32 ct. for the time being. Enjoy your babies. The time passes so quickly. As I said, my baby is 41.

Your Quaker project being stitched on the beautiful 40ct fabric - try buying a pair of otc readers for that use. You won’t be investing much money but it might make the stitching more pleasant for you. I agree with the person who advised you to wait a bit before getting an eye exam unless you have to for work. As far as the stitches being visible enough, if you are happy, that’s what counts. Don’t worry about anyone else’s opinion. 😊

I have been using my mag eyes for sure! I am hoping my sight get a bit better in the next few months 😬🤍. I really am loving the blue fabric for the color though it’s so pretty! Just a pain to stitch on.

I think I found your channel over the summer, but only recently subscribed because I thought I did then haha. I had my son the day before Easter, so when your little started to make noises I instantly looked over to mine in his swing thinking it was him. 😂❤. I hope your recover is going well 💕. I don’t know if I could ever do a large sampler, as I have a hard enough time doing anything larger than 6”x6” and completing it in a timely manner lol, 😅. It would take a decade or more for me probably.

Omg congratulations! I’m doing good just really tired. How about you? Was he your first? Honestly I know the huge ones are gonna take me years but I’m okay with it LOL I figure in like 5 years I’m gonna have a ton of finishes 🤣🤣🤣

@@TheSeattleStitcher I’m doing fairly well, I started napping more this week than last haha. He was actually my fourth, second largest at 9lbs 10.5oz but he sleeps just like a tiny newborn would. My others didn’t sleep near as much as he does. Haha that is so true! I love watching your progress on them. I have about 30 wips from the last two years that I’m hoping to knock several from two years ago out, as well as some from last year. Trying to keep my new starts to a minimum. 😅🫣 I think last year I started 45ish and finished about half. 🙌🏼.

@@danielledarden I am so glad you’re getting naps in. It’s seriously so necessary! Malakai is now sick after Amira got us all sick spring break so we are struggling LOL. You’ll get there for sure! I mean it’s hard when you have little kids to see much progress but honestly a little bit every chance you do get makes such a difference. Just chipping away 😆😅.
