Wow! Your stitching and knitting are absolutely beautiful. I've have been knitting for at least 20 years and I can't imagine knitting that colorwork sweater. It is so cool looking, but I don't know how you are able to follow the pattern. You are very talented! I love summer and I'm looking forward to school break, my daughter is 11 and I love the slow not busy days of summer. I'm still able to mostly work from home and it's such a gift to be able to not have to drive anywhere or have after work/school commitments. You are so right and that time goes by so fast! It's great when you can do life at a slower pace. That is why I love summer the most!

Hi Megan Love your WIPS - They are so pretty. The Colors are just beautiful. I can’t see anything beyond 32 Count and it has to be white fabric so don’t feel bad about struggling to see 40 Count. I am glad that you and your family had a Good Easter. I did too. I got to hang out with my Pastor and his wife and his Mom for the entire day. It was a great day. Glad that your Baby Boy is doing good. He is so cute and adorable. Of Course Amira is so cute and adorable as well. Her Easter Dress is so so pretty. I am not sure what I am most excited for. Right now we are getting lots of Rain. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🙏🧵🦯🧵❤️

Oh my yes…it can be hard to see the threads in 40 count linen so 20 count Aida is the answer. It is so much easier and Fiber on a Whim has lovely colour options.

Hey, you’re doing great with your stitching - especially since you’re taking care of your little man now! I love your Liz Matthews! I’m going to do the brighter version of the Patreon chart but I love the softer palette of yours. I think the little pink sweater is gorgeous ! Love that lace panel! ManningMay. I am working on the Hummingbird Garden from Just Cross Stitching. I also bought 4 of her patterns (before I realized that the magazine pattern was by her). Spring/summer plans - I am looking forward to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival in May and going out on the Chesapeake on our small motorboat. Enjoy the time you have left at home before you return to work and then I hope you feel good about getting back to work also.

Yayyyy the hummingbird pattern is so pretty! She has so many good ones it’s hard to pick the colors are all so amazing. I am so jealous that you’re going to Maryland sheep and wool. That sounds like it’s suck a fun yarn festival. I hope you have the best time! I wish I had more time with at home for sure. Sad to be going back to work but that’s life so I’m trying to look forward to having a little break every day and find the good in it.

Thanks for sharing, nice projects you are working on. About the border of your MFE-chart: I think you should frog till the middle of it, or some stitches more, and make that motive in the middle some stitches longer, or make an adaptation there, because on the chart there is a center int he middle motive that's right under the middle of a motive on the border. A total frog would be a waste of time! Wish you success!

You are so cute with your excitement over your progress! I must admit that I can’t get excited over your unicorn project but it only matters if you like it. 😊. Regarding your vision, it is normal to have changes but I would suggest that you see your eye doctor before you go back to work. You don’t want to get headaches from eye strain due to not having the right glasses when you have to work all day. It would be worth it to pay for an extra pair of glasses to avoid that kind of thing. Knitting - love your colorwork sweater! The baby sweater for your neighbor is adorable. I have not tried a chainette yarn myself but I know others who have used it and haven’t heard bad things. Birthdays! Yours is the 28th and mine is the 27th! I hope you enjoy your day. 🎉🎂🌸🌷

Happy early birthday! ❤ I’ve been catching up on my floss tube today and stitching on some charts that just needed a little bit to finish them. The other day I went a little crazy planning my next three months of what I hoped to stitch on. 🫣🫣🥴 But a lot are small 3x4” charts that won’t hopefully take forever haha. My husband and I have been together going on 17 years this august and will be married for 14 July 1. When people ask we have to stop and think/do that math because it definitely doesn’t feel like it’s been that long. We pretty much started dating the year he graduated hs(I’m a year older 😂). Off to watch your video from the other day! ❤

I am LATE to the party….but so excited to see a bit of energy lift that only comes with time and NOT to be rushed when trying to get a new little fellow into the rhythm of the family vibe……one QUESTION on the oh so fun “Simple Beanie” pattern……after the first four inches…..folding over and lightly whip stitching it down….(so satisfying)….. approximately how many more inches did you knit before knitting two together for your husband?…….niece/daughter?…….I realize these are just ballpark figures…..Thanks….
@TheSeattleStitcher
@TheSeattleStitcher 22 күн бұрын
Hi Sherry! Happy stitching and knitting. I would say I knit another 4-5” before starting the decreases. I know I always at least knit the length of what I whip stitched together plus an inch of two. I usually eyeball it or pull out whatever hat is Daniel’s favorite and go off that. I found the longer the better for him because he likes them a little saggy and they always shrink in the washing machine.

I started the 12 Days last year and did one day per month. I finished day 9 in September. (Cuz that’s all she (Liz Mathews) had out. Finally got Day 10 a couple weeks ago and I’m wondering if you’ve heard when Day 11 & 12 are coming out. (I also wish I were a designer cuz I would have changed around Day 8, maids of milking? I would have switched out the trees for more milk jugs or something.) But I agree, I love her colors!

Hi! I love threadneedle street. Do you know of any other LNS shops near Seattle? Do you stitch 2 over 1 on 20 count Aida?
@TheSeattleStitcher
@TheSeattleStitcher 24 күн бұрын
I don’t know of any others except there is one in Richland I think someone told me once. I’ve never been but I’m sure it’s great. I stitch 1x1 on the 20ct Aida. It’s like stitching on a 40ct linen so I think 2 threads would be too tight. I am really loving it though!
