Heidi, you have some gorgeous projects going..thank you for sharing with us. I have a question. I’m new to stitching on 40 count linen..the first project I stitched was on a 40 count Zweigart and it was a dream to stitch on. Then I ordered 40 count Winter Brew by R&R and I can hardly get my needle through it while stitching. I’m using a size 28 needle. Any suggestions? I don’t think there are smaller needles available. I think I’m using either Bohin or Piecemaker needle..is there another that is a bit sharper? I’m very frustrated and not enjoying it at all. I had read that Picture This Plus fabrics can be tighter weave because of the hand dyeing but hadn’t heard about R&R. Is this just typical of hand dyed fabrics? I’d appreciate your opinion.
