Excellent review!!! I don't like when people play the game one or two times and go straight to making a review. Imagine playing chess five times and conclude that it's boring because every game starts as a four knights game and you getting mated on f2 or f7! This game is soooooo layered and I really enjoy exploring it and (hopefully) getting better at it.

I think a building only counts toward the scoring if it's on the watercraft where the new tile is built. "Scoring Newly-Placed Tiles When you build a tile as a Skysider, score (A x B) : A. The value of the districtʼs matching Guild dial, plus one per building of that districtʼs type on the entire watercraft (see: Skyside tile reference). “A” can never exceed 4. B. The total number of tiles of that district color that are contiguously connected to the new tile, without any breaks."

Thanks for the great review! My gripe with Concordia is the lack of interaction between players. How does it compare with this game?

Great review. This game looks very interesting. What is the luck factor? I’m always a little suspicious of dice, and for this game, I wonder about the tile draw. It seems like you could be heavily disadvantaged by poor draws? Curious about your take.

There's luck, but there's "luck" everywhere so it all sorts itself out imo.

Very rarely, in my experience, was luck the losing factor in a game. There are only four resources, so if you really need one tile, you'll probably get it in two pulls. But this isnt that type of game where one roll decides it. Plus, random tiles are kind of thematic. You don't know what you'll find nor what you'll delve.
