This Workout is an advanced BASI Pilates Class in a style of BASI Flow. One exercise will flow to another, creating a smooth, fluid, and full-body workout. This class is suitable if you have at least intermediate level Pilates experience with NO current injuries. We will be working on the advanced Pilates exercises below:
- Neck Pull
- Hamstring Pull 1, 2 & 3
- Jackknife
- Swan Dive (modified)
- Boomerang
- Corkscrew
- Advanced corkscrew

Aalaya Pilates was founded in March 2016 in Plaza Senayan Arcadia, Jakarta. A boutique Pilates studio that offers a wide range of international standard BASI Pilates classes and training.

Wonderful advanced class! Great cues, cuz we can't look at the screen so much, but I was able to follow. 'Peeling the spine' in Advance Corkscrew is a real challenge to work for. I love Boomerang: I feel like that move is made for my body :o) Swan Dive is very challenging. Thank you!

I only started doing Pilates a few times a week about 1.5 months ago and therefore wasn't sure whether I was going to be able to keep up with a level 3 routine - but it actually worked out really well,and I loved the exercises! (my back could sometimes be more straight when in v-sit etc. but I'm sure that's something I can improve over the next months :]) thank you for the workout!

Thank you so much for all these videos! I really enjoyed the challenge of this one, though I skipped the full corkscrew move as I don't think I'm quite ready for that yet.

You're welcome Sarah! Great job on completing a Level 3 class. The Corkscrew can be pretty intense, but you can modify the Corkscrew by doing it with bent knees. Amit Younger does a great job of explaining the ideal form for a full Corkscrew in the video linked below. I hope this helps you to nail your first one!
