Flow Wand / Levistick - December 2010 (and bloopers!)

Ok, so the doing a new video thing every month didn't really work out. In truth, I did record something every month... but failed miserably to edit it or really do something worth putting up :)
So to make up for it, I've done two new videos at once! (woop!) and just to remind us that the mistakes are all a part of the learning (and fun!) I've put up some from this session (yes there was enough rubbish in there to make a blooper reel!) for you to have a giggle at :)
Most of the bloopers are me trying (and failing) to nail a new trick... Will get there eventually! ^_^ And the jugglers in the mirror are worth watching too! :p

@gogreennowtogether gonna get a tutorial video up soon on what sort of things I play around with, including long string wraps and stuff :) so keep an eye open

Properly re-watched this today. Ahh... my love... you are a true Flow Warrior. Can't wait to see you in Bali. We will have a Levitating Wands Renedage at the retreat! Muahahahhahahhaaaa!

This is a glow one from salza fire gear. I actually had to take out the bottom light because the weight was funny but it worked out really well! Also means you get this awesome trail of light on the floor! Which is pretty cool :) I love all my wands. Each has a different pro depending on where I'm performing (outside, inside, day, night etc...) fave wand is probably my silver flowtoys one at the moment because its on the longest string! :D x

yeah, so if I hold the wand in one hand, the string goes right along to the other hand. Like my "wingspan" :) but there are loads of places to put the string and experiment with different lengths and stuff, so play away!! xx

This wand was from Salza fire gear under their LED section. I dunno if they still do them but that was the site anyways :)

@buddhabunnee Once you have it long, its just a case of finding ways to wrap it up that suit you and your routine. Different ways of wrapping the string round your body will give different lengths and also different tricks/illusions. Its good fun to play around with :) As for the twisting, I reccommend putting a swivel beside the finger loop, then when your wand is full out, it will sort itself ^_^ xx

@tanzendefeder Yeah it is the salza one. I had to take the light out of the bottom to make the weight right lols. i do like it though I must admit :) Xxx

Tahnk you! :) there are a few good sites, flowtoys and homeofpoi are two very good and reasonably priced ones (non LED).... then if you are looking for something a little fancy, flowtoys does LED ones (but quite expensive) and slaza fire gear does LED and fire ones at very reasonable prices :) There are some great toys out there though! xC

Just play! Best thing to do with a flow wand is just keep playing around with it. I have a couple "tutorial" videos up as well which have some ideas you can play around with if you want? :) x

I love watching your videos, they're very inspirational. I really like the wand you're using in this video. Did you make it yourself or could I purchase one like it somewhere? Is it glow or LED? It's looks so cool! Looks like it balances well. What is your favorite type of wand to use overall?

the full length of both arms? I am still experimenting with the right length, but I´m not happy yet. I also have a fire levi, so there is still a lot of figureing out to do. but what you do looks excellent!!!!!=)

I love flow wand, and I consider myself pretty good, but I cant figure out how to have the flow wand go around my body while holding my hand still in front of me. How do you do it? PLEASE tell me
