He did not have “boots” in he had a boot in evidenced by the fact he got shimmied off, if he genuinely had two boots in he would not have been able to be pulled off like that, also the boot wasn’t doing anything except sitting on his hip, it’s gotta be actually affecting how the other dude can move, aka control, it was close as hell but again it wasn’t doing anything, it needed to be doing something to cannons leg control wise it just wasn’t though

Was a takedown for sure then a reversal. Seeing an athlete in wrestling out of shape like that is sad though. He seems very talented and his work ethic got the best of him in this match.

@@Vitality--Vault no control? my guy had a leg in AND a merkle AND the guy on bottom couldn’t get out of that merkle for multiple seconds trying as hard as he could to wiggle out of it and he couldnt, because the guy on top had CONTROL of him….

@@TubbzyXBL no he didn’t in folk style they have a reaction time it’s like a quick second where if the take down or near fall is attempted but they do not meet the criteria for shots it’s control which is shown by taking the back completely or taking the hips or taking both ankles but in this case the guy had no control he was on his side if he hooked his right leg or even mounted or even had a shoulder it would be 2 but white gave up which costed him the win

Should be 8-9 for the black wrestler but at the end when he had leg rides in he was too high ie the ref was thinking (the white guy shouldn’t get 2 points for reversal but he didn’t count it)

Also if you’re gonna argue he had a little control then the argument of he definitely was struggling to gain control which mean you don’t get 2. 1st practice of wrestling you learn how points are scored unless your school was just mentally slow when it came to teaching sports.
