he tried to pop JB's ear hoping to get the easy W. when that didnt happen. he had an emotional drop, lost momentum, allowed a bit of dread into his heart. which is fine, all wrestlers manage fear. but JB is not the type of mf you can come off your mindset with.

No brother, I think this is when you realised that you wouldn't let yourself be broken. And in realizing that you were un breakable, that you could break what you thought was marble and stone. Had my ears drained 7 to 11 times (between doctors, coaches and friends), and that ear pain is so extreme, yet superficial/non-mechanicle, that it ignites a fire.

It’s crazy his ears looked that normal that far into his career. I’m sure he had cauliflower ear before but had them drained in time before the blood dried. I know people who want cauliflower ear because they think it makes them look like a badass but unless you are wrestling so much they don’t have time to heal you are just a poser. Look up definition of Poser and decide if that describes you lol

Why not wear headgear
@stacybehrens71525 ай бұрын
They don’t wear headgear because nobody in the sport at that level is especially concerned about how their ears look. In fact to many a mangled ear is a badge of honor. Most wrestlers (or other grapplers in judo, bjj, mma etc) don’t practice with headgear either. Plus UWW rules do not require headgear. In fact at the time this match happened the rules were that your opponent could require you to remove it. There have been repeated proposals in NCAA wrestling to cease requiring it for college competition too.
