I almost never comment man, but damn that story hit too hard. I wanted to go the the Airforce Academy and become a pilot. All throughout high school I was in AF JROTC. Senior year I was the Wing Commander (highest ranking from my school) so I was in charge of 200+ cadets and my GPA/SAT were spotless. I was sure I was a shoe in. Turns out you have to be a US citizen and I was born in Mexico, something I could not control. Many times I find myself thinking about what would have happened if it turned out different. I'm a Christian and sometimes I even ask God why things didn't go my way. Then I reflect on the memories I have now because I'm doing Army ROTC in my hometown and a very close friend of mine is in the program as well. I've met some amazing people and have had some interesting experiences in my life. In other words, I see that I have been blessed and I recognize that God knows best. Sometimes life doesn't go the way we want but there is a reason for everything. God Bless, keep up the hard work brother🙏

I honestly relate to these things, I've failed a lot during my childhood and I'm still failing to this day but I don't let it break me down, I also find myself watching all your videos like these whenever I'm in a tough spot and I need guidance, And I thank you for making these videos I love them so much! I'm also starting to go outside and do things again and become a better person by doing so!

I am 23 now and I've just taken a big step for my career by taking multiple steps back to go forward. Spent 5 years doing English language studies and decided I am more a computer programming and music kind of guy. Sure it was scary for a while since job hunting has been rough but I am finally on a course for programming (in a couple weeks!) after a year of searching. Also started music production classes on the side as well since that is a passion but not something I want to go fully into a career with yet. All in all: it's never too late. Sure it takes patience and a leap of faith, but you can become most things if you believe in yourself. I battled depression and gradually got my insecurities in check throughout a year period after university and then realised that if this is what my current path did to me, then I don't want it anymore. TL;DR: you got this, whatever it is.

In less than a week, I'll be reporting to West Point for Cadet Basic Training, and this whole failure thing is something I can't stop thinking about. I know that they're whole idea is to push me to failure and then as far beyond that as possible in every facet of life, but it's scary to think about not being good enough. In my entire life, there's been maybe two things I've truly failed at. As cocky or whatever as it sounds, i just don't have that much experience with it. I can't tell if I'm endlessly confident in my ability to make it through CBT, or if I'm scared to death that I'll give up for some stupid reason like being afraid of all that failure. Probably a bit of both. I don't normally comment on videos, but I really felt like it just now because I've never connected this much with a person I've never even met before. I suppose that's a testament to your skills and personality. I hope your passion for this channel continues to fuel this output, because these videos are something special.

Your videos are so relaxing and helpful but in ways I never knew I needed. Usually I watch a video and it motivates me, but it also stresses me out and I fall into a trap of learning and continuing to watch videos about some sort of specific topic, and I begin to worry about wether I will be able to accomplish what these videos are supposably teaching me to do, or whatever it is I am watching a video about. Though I always earn something from almost every video that I watch, I never give anything up besides peace. With your videos I gain peace, and I give up something that I needed to, almost like your videos help me take more accountability for whats going on in my life, realizations. Thank you!

Honestly love your videos, recently found your channel and found you very inspirational. Keep up the good work man, it really helps a lot. I recently got out of the military, realized it wasn't for me. Getting out I didn't know what to do with myself and also went through a heart break. I was down in the gutter for a bit then I realized I had to get up and keep moving. Whether it's working out or continue in a path that I've wanted to go before, I've been moving forward and working on myself.

hey, thank you for making this video. i got a guitar a while ago and i haven’t touched it since. i’m not quite sure why, but i think it’s because i’m afraid of messing up, or it not sounding nice. but i picked it up again today, and even though i haven’t played any songs yet since i’m still trying to learn how to switch chords fast enough, it’s been fun. this video really helped me realize that guitar is something i want to keep learning, even though it’s hard. hopefully i can keep it up and be able to play some of my favorite songs one day :)

I am passionate about art but my first attempt at a graphic novel failed. This was hard because of the hours i had poured into it with the result being an unfinshed meh story with pretty lousy art. This video really spoke to me.

My experience i learned by myself how to accept failure and fuckups. My motto has been im a teenager it’s THE time to make mistakes and try out stuff. I now have no shame in making mistakes. I even messed up every part of a order i was ringing up at my job and i just laugh at fact it happened but dont feel shame because of it.
