My up close and personal review and first impression of the Trunk Sized Checked suitcase by the German brand Floyd 🧳
What’s not to love about a glossy finish suitcase with extra rad color options with sick skateboard wheels? I cant think of anything.

Hello from London CJ, Loved your videos! a friend told me about FLOYD and how great they look, unfortunately most stockist in London are online only, but your video’s convinced me! So I bought a cabin and check-in in grey…if I’m 100% satisfied a trunk will be next… Question: do you know if the check-in size fits in the trunk, when not in use?? Thanks happy travels …

Hey 👋🏽 the gray one is really nice. I don’t know about the check-in size fitting inside the trunk. When I look at the measurements my guess is that it won’t fit due to the framed part of orange liner, since the dimensions of that are smaller than the actual suitcase. I do know that the cabin fits inside of the trunk though. But they were very responsive when I reached out to them via their email. info@floyd.one is their email address. I just struggle with the price of Floyds cases. There are some cases with very similar features, similar quality, for less. But my god, do they look great! The purple one is stunning.

It definitely is not a cheap price but I will say this… use websites like Farfetch.com and ssense.com Because they sell them online as well. Then download the extensions on your browser such as capital one shopping, Rakuten, and retail me not. After you have installed those extensions, go to the Farfetch and Ssense website and there may be additional coupons. It will trigger a pop up if there are discounts. That’s what I did. I waited until Farfetch had a sale, so I ended up getting free shipping, and 20% in cash back or something like that.

Nice vid! I bought the smaller Vegas green. It's weird it says it's a check-in suitcase on the Browns Fashion and Fatfetch websites. Is it because it's 15" wide?

There are 3 different sizes: cabin size, check in size, and a trunk size. Pay close attention to the dimensions and compare to the official Floyd website.

It s great video. It is nothing about the video. However when I experiences them in the store, they are very heavy weight and the outer finishes can be easily worn. They are really good looking, which is making buying them a difficult decisions.

The video shows the weight of the item so that’s disclosed but I know it is a factor. And as far as the wear, I will be posting a video soon of my review of the suitcase after using it for 5 weeks in Europe
