Hey, I’m considering getting the trunk size suitcase.. I’m looking for more of a long term option. Obviously, these look cool but I question whether or not it’s durable? and since there’s no zipper.. how effective is it from preventing water getting through it? If you know. Just want something that doesn’t pop open with ease, when it’s getting thrown around during travel and something that’s water proof… i don’t mind scratches here and there.. just want to make sure my belongings inside are protected and nobodies able to get in. Apologies for the long winded question/response lol

Hi CJ! Does it roll well on carpet or when it's at full capacity? My ick with luggages is when I have to put in the extra effort to push them in either situations!

Of course both of products have the same usage: Storing personal things. But it's impossible to compare a Rimowa, that's a luxury brand, with a popular brand. Rimowa doesn't sell only their "products", they also sell their brand and their exclusivity. Am I saying that it worth it? Not exactly. If you have money to spend on this and you think you should buy it, great then, but if the only thing you need is a storage item then Rimowa is probably not the best option.

Is the cabin able to nest into the checkin?

Beware of buying from Floyd directly if you are buying from the US or basically anywhere outside of Europe. I ordered a Floyd cabin, the quality of the product is not up to par with the price, the only cool thing about this product is the skateboard wheels which are not even conventional skateboard size wheels. The case is just plastic and the interior space is very small. Outside of the items that I mentioned above, the biggest issue was returning the product. You have to ship it to Germany and you have to cover the costs of the shipment. To be fair. They do mention in their website that they only cover returns inside Europe. But if you're shipping this case back to Germany, be prepared to spend between 100 to 200 US dollars just to return the item and get some of your money back.

Great videos CJ! A quick question, did the bearing fall off in the carry-on or in the trunk? These look phenomenal but I'm traveling for work almost weekly so I'm debating whether to get the cabin one or not :/

I just struggle with the price of Floyds cases. There are some cases with very similar features, similar quality, for less. But my god, do they look great! The purple one is stunning.

Have you had any trouble when using the carryon? Meaning has any of the airlines told you that it’s not a carry on size? I’m from the US. Thinking of buying one but I’m not looking to get a carry on checked in if possible.

I just bought the 4 pack set. I filled them up but haven't traveled with them yet. That said, the 4 pack seems optimal for my Travelpro 21" carryon.

Hi CJ! I am heavily considering this luggage because I love the look and functionality of the wheels and I don't mind scuffs/scratches so it seems like a good choice. However, what is your opinion on the handle after you've spent some time traveling, I travel for work and need something that will be sturdy long-term. Also, the warranty Floyd has isn't as extensive as other top-brands, were you able to get your luggage fixed/any issues with customer service? Gorgeous! It's just too heavy. 4.4kg would take up a lot of the 7kg weight limit for carry-on bags for many of the airlines we fly in Asia. Too bad! I really like the looks.🌺Heidi

It s great video. It is nothing about the video. However when I experiences them in the store, they are very heavy weight and the outer finishes can be easily worn. They are really good looking, which is making buying them a difficult decisions.

Please do a follow up review after a few trips! Would love to see how this thing holds up. I am on the fence about buying.

You should include commentary on jow wheels perform on carpeted floors. Many airports have carpet like LaGuardia and the carpet makes a huge difference.
