They're fantastic to read aren't they, I used to get annoyed with them but after over time I came to realise that it's simply what keyboard warriors do. Lines such as "he should have gone to the body more" and "doesn't move his head" are amongst my favourites lol

wiggyp1 Eubank got beaten by someone who himself is nowhere near world class, Eubank is an awful boxer with only strength to bring to the ring. He's found out already boxing involved much more than that, and will have harsher lessons in the future.

I admit that he's extremely raw and an awful lot of work is needed to be done with him, but there's talent there to work with. He Needs to shorten up those punches for a start as he leaves himself wide open to the counter. A big puncher would have KO'd him.

Good speed and power. Chin is a bit high during some of those combos. And the pull back counter didn't seem convincing. Sticking out your head closer to your opponent, then pulling back works better. It gives you better foundation and balance to pull your head back and then counter. As a opposed to just jerking back and being unbalanced and welcoming an onslaught. Agree?

MrNriapia Possibly, but I'd imagine Ronnie Davies to have a degree of pride. If Eubank was to train with Floyd sr, then that's great for him, Floyd is a perfectionist...but let Ronnie know what's happening. Also, his dad needs to stay out the ring when the fighter and trainer are working...no place for him there

Bill Grundy What you guys may not know is that Floyd Sr was one of Eubanks jr trainers when he first started boxing in america. Floyd Sr is just refining those skills that he taught him now that he's getting much better. I still think Ronnie is the head trainer.

TM789SP2 Yeah Eubank sr sent Chris and Seb (may be wrong about Seb) to the states to keep them out of the lime-light and out of trouble, where like you say, Floyd sr taught them a lot about boxing. Interesting seeing this, but I think experience will be the key tomorrow night, and Billy has that experience. Eubank will make it very tough and close though...good fighter

There is a huge difference being trained by Floyd Mayweather Snr & Ronnie Davies!!!! Chris Jnr needs to stay with the mayweathers so he gets the best out of his talent/abilities.The sparing out in the states is also on a different level.

And Billy Jo Saunders, 'not a prayer, second time around' ( if it happens? ) huge UK domestic fight ( even better if with an extra belt, 1 plus 1 and 1, each) only problem, Junior, need to go (AND stay 11 6, 72.5) for get super ( and only went there for super series dollar,) did himself no favours, record now, 28 30 , split Billy Jo, not there for GG, could can argue Billy Jo split, and GG now retired, at middleweight, this fella top 5 on the planet ( and now your going to believe)

Want to know about eubank. Go watch his fight v billy jo. Bjs schooled his ass with faints and distance all night long. Eubank can fight and hes very strong and dedicated but he lacks a boxing brain and will always get exposed v high calabre opposition.

Eubank was fighting a southpaw in his fight during this camp, this padwork doesn't help that at all. Floyd sr can't take southpaw pads! He made that mistake when Hatton fought Pacquiao

The Richkid they didnt use em in training from what i heard they didnt like em..i didnt mean they never messed about with them in media workouts..look at leonerd doing it in the clip does he really look like hes experienced at pad work..it has its uses but should be near the bottom of the list..

Imran hud leonard and Ali fought in a different era. Fighters these days are about ten times more athletic than fighters like these two you've mentioned. You can't expect guys today to just spar and do strength & conditioning workouts during camp. Padwork not only adds for great exercise, but like I've mentioned, it keeps the reflexes, muscle memory, and even endurance sharp.

A ageing DeGale is no comparison to a Billy Joe in his prime who also has the bit between his teeth to get back on top. Tread carefully Jr...keep away from the likes Billy Joe and Callum Smith coz they're another level.
