That is great Floyd, glad to hear it. I kind of feel sad that you don't get the credit you are due. It's a shame to see an undefeated champion get boo'd in his own country while fighting a foreigner. However I look up to you as more than just a fighter but as a role model. And I know that there is a whole lot more to you than just boxing, and the persona. Keep up the good work!

When they say Floyd destroyed canelo, they mean that canelo virtually won no rounds. He was hailed as the one to finally beat Floyd, but Floyd embarrassed and dominated him. Floyd walked canelo down from the start of round one, threw a lot of punches and landed at a high percentage, and more importantly was able to hit without getting hit. THATS what they mean.

Have you ever notice that when a person gets hit in the balls they are in great pain but they can get back up and fight, but when a person gets hit with a liver shot, they are done and very few fighters get up from that. So by your thinking process, can you say the person that got hit in the balls doesn't really feel pain because they could continue fight and the didn't get hit in the liver? Pain is pain, and it hurts no matter whether it's the balls, thighs,liver or other parts of the body.

No one has said that 7 low blows didn't hurt Matthysse, where did you get that from? But you still can't compare how one person reacts to a pain in a different spot vs another person's pain in another spot. For instance, gout is a very severe pain when you get in it your big toe, but a toothache can also be a very severe pain. They are both pains in two different areas of the body, you can't tell the person with gout oh you don't have pain because it's not a toothache and visa versus !!!

First the fighters have a cup protecting their balls, next there is no cup covering your thigh. So the thigh hit is more of a direct hit and you don't know exactly where the punch landed by the balls. So there is no possible way you can tell the pain from either hit to say one is more painful than the other. You don't know how hard or how soft or how direct or indirect the actual punch was. So for you to say one person is faking or not as hurt, is just stupid unless you felt their pain.

I think Alvarez didn't know, If he did maybe he would have pushed harder to hit it more. In the eight round Floyd was moving away a lot in that round, should have indicated something was up. I also think Floyd better not move to a heavier weight. That blocking with his arms won't work to well against stronger fighters. The hits he normally absorbs with smaller fighters wouldn't do well against stronger fighters. And in this video he looks as small as a 147 person @ 5'8" would.

That's absolute crap. Just because there wasnt brawling or knockdowns doesnt mean that neither deserved to win. It's a disgrace that fans like u can't give one ounce of credit to Floyd. He didn't run. He walked canelo down from the start of round one! He laned clean punches all night. He landed much more punches, and he landed nearly half the punches he threw. Canelo himself said that he had no answer for Floyd. All of the boxing experts at ringside had canelo winning no more than 2 rounds!

I respect your opinion, but I totally disagree. Floyd is showing no sign of decline yet. Canelo landed at 22%, he simply couldn't catch him and when he did Floyd's defense was as sharp as ever. It was honestly a glorified sparring match. Granted, Floyd didn't dominate him like he dominated Arturo Gatti, but he boxed beautifully.

Canelo fought the wrong fight it's no secret he's corner told him to box the best boxer in the world. How do you fight floyd from the outside ? We all know floyd isn't a strong guy canelo should've made it a dog fight instead he let floyd stay in his comfort zone. Either way canelo's only 23 and he gained a lot of experience from that fight I can't wait to see him in his next fight.

Why not fight pacman, that's the only big fight out there. Strikes me as ducking a fight that he's not sure he'll win. Trying to keep his perfect record, that's not cool man, everyone would love to see that fight but it'll never happen.

He's getting old. Slightly slower. He can't take any risks offensively like he did when he was younger since at that age all damage you receive may be permanent... The least punishment you take, the longer you'll last. Hes taken the least punishment in boxing history, he will leave the sport in perfect health if he continues to fight the way he does now. A smart boxer cares about his health and not what the fans want.
