I never liked Floyd as a prizefighter, but I have always maintained that he is a very intelligent person and a savvy business man. Now I know that he is righteous and loyal as well. I was a huge fan of DLH as a fighter but as a promoter he is just so shady. Which is surprising because he himself was a fighter that got screwed by Arum. A lot of fans don't like PBC/Haymon cause a lot of PBC guys aren't active or get hard fights but Al takes care of his guys. I cannot list one fighter under PBC that has had a bad thing to say about him.

Wow this interview by Mayweather might have been recorded 2 years ago but he was right on the money two years ago! in the Graham interview with Canelo, Canelo admitted as much that Oscar was more worried about what he's going to drink and other things that he was paying attention to, and that he didn't even tell Canelo he had signed up for a GGG fight, by the time Canelo found out he was already obliged to a fight, Oscar Dela Hoya sold him out and he didn't get paid like he was supposed to have gotten paid according to his contract. Oscar Dela Hoya looks like a gold-plated Golden Boy.

At least I can say that Floyd Mayweather actually WORKED for everything he's got. He's not riding the "government train" like a lot of people. I'm talking about all races. This guy trains extremely hard and he's in a dangerous sport. To my knowledge, Floyd has never been thrown a golden bone with money wrapped around it. He had to work and sacrifice for the lavish life he lives. Floyd doesn't owe anybody anything! This is the way I look at it, whoever fought him in the past, like Oscar De la Hoya, well, Oscar shouldn't have left it in the judges decisions. I saw the fight. It was close, but that's not good enough. Kill or be killed is my philosophy.
