Floyd is the county seat of Floyd County, Virginia with a population of around 450 people. It's located on US-221 and VA Hwy. 8 about 8 miles north of the Blue Ridge Parkway at an elevation of 2,493 feet.

I have never been as far as Texas, and I live in California. Floyd County, Virginia looks so beautiful with the greenery all around. God's Country!

Floyd, town with the same name as it’s county, has only one stoplight in the entire county! It’s no doubt the friendliest and safest county in the region.

My town of Spring City, TN has a population of 1,949 and not near as big as Floyd Va. They have a Chrysler dealership as shown in the beginning of this video. Allwe have is a Piggly Wiggly, Dollar General, Hardees and McDonalds.
