Let’s get crazy and do a paint pour on a T-shirt! 3-year-old Lauren is the CUTEST painting helper I can imagine.
To keep the painted area separate from the rest of the shirt, I used an embroidery hoop, a cardboard circle covered in freezer paper (or wax paper), a piece of leftover plastic tablecloth, and blue tape.
I’m using craft paints from Hippie Crafter, thinned with water at about 4 parts paint to 1 part water. They are washer and dryer safe, and don’t require ironing to “set” the design!
Titanium White (for priming the shirt)
Magenta Light
Cobalt Blue
Metallic Silver
Mauve Blue
Viridian
Here’s where I got them: bit.ly/3iSrKsC (Affiliate link)
I think it turned out amazing! And Lauren is so happy with it. Wait 7-10 days before machine washing (gentle cycle is best), and air dry so it doesn’t fold up and stick together while drying.
