In this video we take a deep dive (pun intended) into fluids and the buoyant force. We’ll define Archimedes’ Principle and how we can use it to calculate the buoyant force of objects fully and partially submerged in fluids. We also talk about how the density of an object and the density of the surrounding fluid can predict whether the object will sink or float.
And we show how you can prove whether a gold ring is is in fact 100% gold and not just a cheap knock off.
