Go 50% blue 10% white you will find less algae and better colouration of corals after they get used to led colour change, white is mainly for our eyes blue is for the corals :) ask your dad

Knock down the whites and I only feed frozen foods. Find pellets to be algae magnets. Raise pH and phosphate constantly.

Try reducing your white channel to 10% this may reduce your algae slightly. Tank will look better too.

I would be doing water changes with old water from your Dad's tanks and maybe throw some of his rock in there to speed up the cycle and get some beneficial bacteria/pods in there.

Have you thought about sealing the little gap at the bottom dividing the front tank to the filtration compartment, as it will better the flow through the filtration compartments, also ‘Pondguru, has a channel on KZfaq that has biohome media for marine tanks, if your interested, , good luck. 👍 I’ve liked and subbed.

vibrant reef cleaner will help shorten the ugly tank syndrome. Vibrant is a unique blend of waste and nutrient eating bacterium and amino acids. It did wonders for me. the tank looks awesome BTW 😁😁😁😁

The small hole on the side of the tank killed my clownfish. It got stuck in the hole and died smh.
