Finally managed to catch up on the video mate and absolutely well impressed with that flux Rx, I used it yrs ago in my 170 and don't remember it being that good, like Nano Tank Reefer said it's night and Day, you've done a great job 👍👏👏, the tank is looking fantastic mate everything flowing and happy, and the colour is great, all them zoa's will be A+ when spreading all up the Scape, can't wait to see the progress with this little tank. Definitely one of the best one's coming through the hobby for sure

Night and day dude, the tank looks miles better, parameters pretty much in check... happy days!! The torches even looks a little happier since lasts week's update

That flux Rx is good stuff in a relatively short period of time. Tank has definitely turned a corner. 👍

Yeah, not put of the woods yet but its certainly a lot better, the Flux RX seems to have worked really well, just need to sort the cyano now

Great video mate, I'm away to dose my RedSea 170E with this stuff tomorrow so was looking for some info on it. Here's hoping it does the job as you say, my tank is bad!! Might bump into you sometime at Nessies

Looking good mate! 👍 The urchin should keep on top of the algae going forward, but he will steal things as reward for his service 😂 He might even take the crab hostage! 😂

Hahaha now that would be interesting, see if the crab can go to town on the Urchin, he's got his top hat on still so I'm hoping that solves any issues haha

Great vid as always Ross. Your tank is looking so much better now. I would rather have a bit of Cyano than the hair algae. Your 1st Torch has grown alot!!

Thank you very much mate, yeah its getting better and I agree the cyano is the better option out of the 2, the torch is massive now compared to what it was when i got it, it looks brilliant now

Looking good. Don’t worry about the cyano (unless it gets too big of a problem). A little cyano is normal after the treatment you made. If the circulation is good they should go away.

Thanks mate, not at all, reefing is not a competition, everyone's tank is different, everyone has a different style, your tank should be all about you and what you like, doesn't matter how big or small it is or what's in it, just be proud of what you have achieved 👍

Yeah there is still some GHA left over but hopefully it will go soon, ive still not added the carbon back in yet, so there will still be some flux RX in the tank, im not sure about dosing it again as could end up overdosing the tank,

Not only did this stuff not work but it acted as a fertilizer for my hair algae

This is designed and works to remove hair algae, it won't cause it to grow, the issue will have been elsewhere

Yeah its a great shop, I'd say start off with one dose for 2 weeks, no water changes, and see how you get on, I found manually scrubbing the rocks with a toothbrush as it started to die off really helped too

@@BeardedReef that is what I have done. Its all over my sand and I can't siphon up out and can't touch my sand unless am getting my head wet haha
