A handy variation on the Hares Ear Nymph. A great general pattern that can be used for many different situations to imitate caddis, mayflies and stoneflies. This is slightly different to a traditional Hares Ear in that it does not use hares fur for the tail instead using hen saddle soft hackle feathers. it also replaces the gold wire or tinsel with copper wire.
Happy Tying Everyone.
