Why did the fly finish with a gold head and not a black one like in the front pic?

Most shops and anglers would reject this fly because of the loose and sloppy way the materials flop around the hook, and because of the slipshod manner that the cone wobbles on the shank. This fly would be the last one in the bin, if it made it to the bin at all. Not saying that it wouldn't catch a fish or two, if it ever got the chance.

Recommendation finish the fly to the back of the bead and less dubbing.

Nice pattern. Loved the music too. Sounded a lot like vintage John Fahey, but I didn't recognize the tune and I've heard most of his stuff???

Good video except the noise in the background. Silence would have been better.

Poor technique. Material was not properly anchored to the hook so it was slipping around. Good choice of colors and nice look to the belly.

this might have been a good video, if you would have explained what you were doing, to me this any help learning how to tie flies, and that noise, was the worst thing about the video,if I want to listen to that noise I'll turn on tv

take the sun glasses off. Think about what you are doing. Bad technique and poor pattern.
