Love it! Been a member for 25 years. I like the idea about CFI renewal. The one other thing about CFI's...I think instrument instructor should not be category restricted. I'm a double "I" in helicopters and CFI MEI in fixed. I can't understand why I can't give instrument instruction in fixed as well. There is no difference working instruments in rotorwing as opposed to fixed. If you're an instrument instructor you should be instrument in all categories you are a CFI in. Same with ATP. Something you might want to consider when negotiating new ratings for CFI's. LOVE the Hawaii segment. One of the best heli pilots I ever met went down there and was killed flying over lava. Bad day for all of us. No better pilot I ever met. RIP Paul.

5:51 - "We're going to stop straight ahead not doing anything else with the ailerons because if I did something it would load the wings weird." This is a tip for landing on windy days?
