This aircraft just flew over my house minutes ago out over to shropshire uk. Then back to east midlands airport where i believe it is now based

Call me a traditionalist, but there's something not right about the look of a Bf109 with a Merlin. Same for that beautiful Spitfire wing with its tips clipped.

Sorry to disagree. I think the clipped wing looks a lot better than the extended tips of the photo recce variants. Yes the merlin does make the 109 look wrong.
