Flying on the inaugural Allegiant Air flight to Orlando International Airport

Welcome to this video! On May 3rd, 2024, American ultra low-cost carrier Allegiant Air launched their first commercial flight to Orlando International Airport, and I was on the inaugural flight! The first flight was from Asheville, NC. Allegiant has a large operating base at Orlando Sanford International Airport, but this was their first flight to Orlando's main airport. The flight was fun, the crew was friendly and there were a lot of snack and drink options. I do find it odd that the crew never came around to collect trash or do their pre-landing safety check. We ended the inaugural flight with jetbridge trouble that lasted for about 30 minutes. There was no fanfare whatsoever for the inaugural flight at MCO, no water cannon salute, no decorations, nothing. Thank you so much for watching and subscribe for more videos!

As a Sanford resident who loves Allegiant, welcome! On the other hand, as a Sanford resident who flies out of MCO a lot as well I can tell you that unfortunately no employee at MCO cares about inaugural flights. MCO has 144 gates so they definitely have much higher priorities, lol.

Man, I've always wanted to fly to the Orlando International Airport someday during the summer! Now, my wish has finally came true when Allegiant Air also started serving flights from Knoxville's Mcghee Tyson Airport in Tennessee to the Orlando International Airport! 😃🤩

I do flight reviews, so I'm going to be honest about my experience. If you watched the whole video, you'd see that I said the flight was fine for the 1 hour hop.
