I’ve had a flight in a RV14/A but I’m hoping to have one in a RV7/A too. Beautiful planes I’m hoping to eventually build one in the future.

What a fantastic build and choice of systems; very impressive. I think we should reword the "experimental category" to "modern age" category - seeing as they employ technology that is tried and tested for engines today. Coil ignition, Automated AFR management, no mixture controls, no vacuum gauges - I'd love to operate such systems in an aircraft. 170 Knot TAS would be a blast too!

Nice V-LOG. How satisfied as a customer, are you that you made a Wise purchase? Brand New Pilot. Shopping for a aircraft. Do you or Anybody else reading this point me in the Right direction. This is just the RV 14 correct? You chose not to buy the larger fuselage. If i understood this right from there site there are upgrades for the fuel and longer wings i believe 28ft. I'm not sure. Not the RV 14a assuming.

William, I am the builder and owner of this amazing aircraft. There are no upgrades for this aircraft for longer wings that I am aware of. I believe there now is a larger fuel capacity available but in reality I don't believe you need more fuel unless there is a mission requirement for it. The next upgrade to a bigger plane would be the RV-10. It has a 31'9" wing span. 4 place with a 6 cylinder engine.

Are you maybe thinking of the RV9, which was (I believe) was based on the RV7, but had a longer, higher aspect ratio wing? (which also made it less aerobatic - as I understand it, more intended as an efficient cruiser than a sport plane).

@@boydw1 the engine in the RV-14 is an IO-390 215hp angle valve Lycoming.
