You can get a lot of science by repeating the experiments next to many buildings in the KSC itself, just make a rover and run around with a scientist extracting and storing the data

I think being able to launch from other launch sites is a difficulty setting you can toggle, and is on by default on Sandbox mode. I'm not 100% sure though

Yeah it is, then when hovering over the launch icon you can select the launch site.

My advice with earning fast EASY cash in KSP 1 is the suborbital/orbital tourist ferries. I would recommend utilizing the radial drogue chutes. They are for slowing you down enough to deploy the main chutes. As you saw, the tourist contracts are easy, fast cash. Just farm those off camera until you have the cash to start upgrading the rest of your buildings. Could save yourself tons of errors just looking up "how to"'s with this game on youtube. Lol... I know some people rather learn by doing, but this game doesn't teach you how at all. I'd look at Mike Abens KSP1 series for beginners and his contract series for beginners. Legit the best source of how to play this game efficiently. It's how I learned the basics.

Theres a button ( I think tab or caps lock) that reduces how much the vehicle pitches. the arrows in the bottom left corner turn silver instead of orange. Makes planes much easier to fly without doing barrel rolls, 9:08

@@sidspooki It is caps lock idd, makes your controls in bottom left blue and reduces input. Some more tips: Kerbal has a trim option, but you need a mod to make it visible, its alt + control, alt - x resets the trim. Can be super helpful during long flights to keep the right angle of attack. You can also reduce the intensity of your ailerons by right clicking them, should help with the roill sensitivity.

I did the full tour to every launch site and anomaly on Kerbin last week, and I reccomend building a VTOL for that (a plane that can be stopped by parachute also may work if you try hard). Some places are difficult to land with a regular plane

i would suggest going high enough until you don't see any of the white condensation at top speed, saves a bit of fuel and your plane should be more maneuverable with no high dynamic pressure

drive the whole circumference of minmus the return to earth (return if possible not necessary)

I did a video driving from the south pole to the north pole on minmus, so half the circumference and returned home. Not quite all the way but almost! Lol
