Colleen, when I was little my dad used to travel overseas for work pretty often. And he would say, We will miss each other so much but missing another person is a wonderful way to feel just how much you love them. It helped and was true for sure. Plus he always brought Dunkin Donuts home from the airport and I LOVED having that homecoming tradition. In short, don’t feel bad! It’s good to miss your people sometimes-breeds appreciation. Also, yessss to that dress choice! 🌟
