David Lyman served with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 71 as a Navy journalist in South Vietnam, April-November 1967. In this excerpt from a longer discussion, Lyman shares memories of a flight from Vietnam to Japan aboard a plane carrying about 150 US service members killed in Vietnam.
