❤🙏❤ My buddy duck recently died from getting infested with larvae etc.... so glad you figured it out before they were hurt! How long can I have a bag of food before it starts losing its nutrients significantly? I've been thinking about making my own feed from different whole grains if this is a problem

Oh no that's so sad! So much to consider. So sorry. Fly high ducky! I'm finding that 6 months is the shelf life. I bought these last bags in Septtember! I was buying 2 at a time though. Finding the right food for these guys was a bit of a headache but I use kamblach 17% layer feed. It has the most natural ingredients, other Kamblach products have processed foods that Sparrow is allergic to, but I tried an all natural feed that didn't give them enough nutrients. I did a video about it
