@@alishanmao I have Blade 130x and I changed my ratting to feel like flying a real helicopter. And inside I have a FPV 3-in1 with 200mW5.8. Clear image and feels like flying a real thing. Actually more fun that quads. And people love it. Big Heli, you need to create a special vibration eliminator so the footage does not shake.

Great flying, Ali, as always! You mentioned that you can calibrate the compass at home and still fly ok at the flying field. How far do you think you can go and still be ok? Keep up the good work :)

The range depends on your radio control and receiver you use. For scale flying Line of sight, normally I can only go 50 meters or so. after that its difficult to see orientation of helicopter. but having to have GPS hold, if a pilot loses orientation (is it going or coming) pilot can always activate RTH

@@alishanmao Hi Ali, I meant to say after you calibrate at home how far from home can you fly without recalibrating again. For example if your flying field is 5 miles from home can you fly there without taking the laptop to the flying site? Thanks

@@billaeronut41 Ah sorry i misunderstood. normally with in 20 km radius I believe you should not. at some times even the same city you do not have to calibrate it again. unless if you see the need for it. (Heading hold is not good? then you should calibrate again)

But wait for my build video and you will see that this helicopter has a total different body parts (inside is totally different) so its not a shell or Fuselage that you can add on existing FW450, which in fact i and many would have loved so much and they could have sold tons of those fuselage and shells. wait for the build video some times this month. Time is limited for me due to my new job :)

Is this helicopter as easy to fly as the Fly Wing FW450 V2 Ali? I love how easy the FW450 flies, but the scale quality of this one is beautiful.

it sure is but its on the heavy side due to fuselage so its not as powerful as the other helis are. it takes some getting used to its behavior to fly it. and over time you might get boring because this is only for scaled flights.

you can do this actually on the ground. with collective pitch its simple. keep the throttle in the mid so its zero pitch on the rotor blades. then spin up the rotor, and watch from side. heli won't take off until you give it positive pitch.

Would like to know more about the E,S,C AND what is rly wing going to do about hot hot esc causing it to start to burn up heavy smoke from my Uh 1 causing me to shut it down in flight good thing only a few feet in the air got some tail damage got the model from Helidirect only 3 months now I have another Flywing heli it Flys great but same thing I've noticed hot Esc

Iv been watching a bunch of your fw450 v2 videos too and am wondering do these H1 controllers let you fly with out GPS lock or with out the GPS unit at all?

you can fly full manual. disengage GPS and alt hold. do aerobatics. but not this one. this one can go full manual. but won't do aerobatics

You will need to modify the heli a bit. rest you can put different fuselage on it. FlyWing has experimented with many. but do remember the existing power combo will be under big load. motor esc will overheat. and you won't have much cyclic collective. you need to change motor and esc to something more powerful

Bought the kit version without the fuselage or canopy. I thought it would fit sa 450 size fuselage. It wont. Its sa 470 size heli.. Fly wing would not sell that bell fuselage separately! I am still looking for other brand or model of scale fuselage that will fit fl450!

Big problem you can't get a replacement fuselage if you have an incident. Not for me too expensive to just discard.

@@alishanmao Ha, ha very good never had a model helicopter that didn't crash at some point sometimes my fault sometimes not. But with spare parts available no problem. Thinking lf getting the H1 controller what's the difference between the H1 and the H1 lite . Love those videos and the way you present them.

@@jeffreyuprichard3754 well i was just pulling your legs. helis are bound to crash sooner or later no matter what. things go wrong randomly. for 8 channels you can choose, maybe lose auto circle, or auto inverted, etc.
