No kidding about another level to your videos. The footage was stunning and the flying spectacular as usual but rarely do you find a video on YT where the commentary is as enjoyable if not more so. I enjoy all your videos but this one was special. Artful. Thank you

I’ve lived there for six months in 2011 and my last trip was Oct’22. I climbed Lion’s Head several times, table mountain once. I love paragliding and got lucky enough to fly at PE. This video made me so happy. All those memories. Your comments are funny too 😂

Such a departure from your regular content, love the satire that unfortunately only few will get! Never flew Lions Head, I gravitated towards the Map of Africa back in the days when the glider came with me aboard SAA, but I swear I can see myself hiking up India Venster on one of your shots... ;-)

Your sarcasm is pretty spot-on! I've hiked Lion's Head twice, but paragliding there was never on my radar! I may need to learn how to paraglide (I paramotor, but paragliding is a fully different beast!) and then head back to Cape Town!

hey, serious question.. if you were to retire to the Cape where would you go..? factoring in paragliding of course and weather, costs of buying property / living etc., got me thinking also what about western cape or northern cape.. ?

I am an Australian pilot hoping to come to SA in Feb but I am concerned about the power outages and the increased crime problems Are those problems manageable? such a pity South Africa is an awesome country.

Yes I did come to SA in Feb, 10 days in cape town and surrounds and 12 days in wilderness. My second solo flying trip there, had a great time no issues. The local pilots were awesome.
