WOW... I hope that I can make it work! Stupid question... did you grease the metal gears and maybe not tighten down the case all the way? I hope to get the video out in a week or so... maybe more because of the Holidays. I can't remember if you are subscribed or not but it would be great if you were!!! Thanks DRCA

@@DaddysRCAddiction I used Tamiya Cera Grease HG and yes, tightened properly. Others have had the same issue too. Saw one comment on a 2FM video where the person was able to machine the gears down some to make it work. I reported the issue to FMS Hobby and FairRC. No word back from FMS and FairRC is requesting a video of the issue. Haven't had time to do that yet. I sub'ed. 👍

@@garyd491 Thanks for the sub!!! Someone from FairRC commented on one of my vids... if I have the same issue I will send him the link to the gear vid I post and maybe we can get some sort of resolution!

@@DaddysRCAddiction ​ So I got a digital caliper and checked the metal gears. The two counter gears were 9.8mm while the stock plastic ones were 9.4mm. I grinded them down to size. They now spin freely when the gearbox is screwed down.

The V2 TX has some cool features but I like the original. It will still be fun in any case!!! Please Subscribe, Like and Ding the 🔔!!!

Well I’m not exactly sure what version I have at this point . My transmitter does not have the thumb button that could be used for shifting the 2 speed. And the receiver doesn’t have any additional plug ins for another servo for rear steering or even additional lights.

@@kevincasey6876 It’s a bit frustrating when manufacturers start changing things to maximize profit or because of available resources… does the manual clear up these details?

The manual and transmitter says V2 .

@@georgiahertzler9403 LOL… I’m the same… I think I have around 200 + RCs… almost every kind imaginable… I’m not a fan boy of any one brand, some are better than others and it all come down to $$ at the end of the day… you get what you pay for. So calm down and find the good in all brands.
