I 1080'd mine as well as shocks, tires, and weighted the front tires. She's a pretty capable little beast.

Awesome looking truck 👍unfortunately I dont think they are sold in mainland Europe .my favourite type of bodystyle on scale trucks . Greetings from Northern Europe...Harry

The panhard mount is very weak but tbf you could lose it with the 4 link like you say mate. Great rig for the money

Nice!!!! Is it true that for FMS 1/10 trucks there isn't alot of accessories or stuff to buy to make it a customized truck? 😮😢

Arni, fms may not make alot of accessories for it (they do carry some) but you can overhaul it with many parts made for others. Your only limit is you skill and imagination 😁

I also noticed that you mentioned the RGT Crusher, it was rebranded for the European market as the Texan. I have only one RGT product, the EX86100 JEEP, which is my first crawler, I'm more than happy with it, I was thinking of getting the Crusher to replace the FMS Atlas 4x4. I've only seen good reviews for the Crusher. Very cool looking rig & performance is great to, top heavy though.

I have been on the fence on this one as well. Thanks for a good review! I would have to flatbed/wood stake it. Maybe a dog in the back...lol Also a 1080 first thing. Not a big fan of the hyrax tread pattern just from a the looks department. Throw some Swampers on that bad boy!

This truck needs work, you'll end up spending more money for improvements than by just buying something better.

Mine got new wheels and foams keeping the stock tires. It got an electric Warn winch. It got a Fusion 1200. It got shocks. It got a steering servo. It got weathered. It needed all of that badly.

I like it in that. I have the 2300 pros in my other two, Ecto and Phoenix though.

Just needs an esc: 1080 or 1060 spektrum SPMXSE1040 that makes absolutely no noise. Grease up the axles, transfer & trasnmission. Don't think it needs slipper tightened but recommended.

I put a Hobbywing 1080 in mine, yes it helped, but there's other things that need improvements.

How's it going Gerry. Merry christmas buddy. I've been thinking about getting one of those rigs. they are hard to beat the price. So now I will watch the rest of your review and decide. But I got the family a pool table coming real 8ft slate top. So the RC car budget might be out for the year. Lol

I have this truck & it really needs a lot of work. ESC is really noisy. The front bumper sticks out way to much, the shocks are to small 60mm. The battery tray/space is bad. I had to replace my reciever, it went bad. Replaced the steering servo, it went bad to. The steering is atrocious, I tried to get more turning radius, but unless I'm doing something wrong, I don't know then. It looks great and IMHO this truck isn't worth it. Good for kids & beginners. I was going to sell mine for $150.00 & get something else. We'll see what you do to yours & find out if you can make/do improvements to the steering & other problems.

@@gerrysoldguyreview I will be waiting to hear that. Maybe you can find a fix for the steering. I went with a shorty 3s Lipo battery because of the limited space that they give you. Hardcase 2s Lipo's don't fit.
