Thank you for getting the Redcat out they had a sale & people had posted videos of the Marksmen & Gen 8 so it made me get my Marksmen out then l got my Gen 8 out & cleaned it up & got it out this morning. I lowered it abit & went through all the shocks & replaced the oil. I have a Holmes Hobbies 550 motor in it I believe a Crawlmaster & 1080 esc. It was so much fun to get it out it. If there was a top 10 crawlers of all time the Gen 8 would definitely be on it the Scout body is perfect something different I had moved the links to give it a shorter wheelbase because I had a Proline 66 Chevy body up I was going to put on but I put it on a different chassis so I had to return it to stock length. And yep it tipped over a few times😂 I was getting frustrated because the front bumper kept hitting after driving rigs made to climb more effectively but I love the scale goodness of it I’ll probably but a light bar on it now since my interest had s been renewed. Bottom line the Gen 8 never gets old & Redcats progression has really taken off. I have the Gen, Marksmen, Windigo, Ascent & now the Fusion & if you don’t have a Fusion do yourself a favor & get one & then take your Redcats out to see how much they have progressed. Much thanks for taking the time to get yours out it’s a pleasure seeing it out looking so good. 👍🙌

I never understood the shade that gets tossed to Redcat myself. The Gen8 is a great platform. Simple mods those Gen8s will kill it. I've owned 3 of the Gen8s and they alp held up fantastic. You can do DL in full droop and some brass move stock sliders up trim body little bit and its unbelievable how well those trucks will perform for a big body heavy rig. Very nice looking rig, no one should expect a "scaler" to be a comp rig it handles the outdoors like a 1-1 if you want to rock crawl with your daily driver you'll need to mod the hell out of it😅 thanks for sharing.

I love my Gelande II Land Rover D90. I personally like the FJ also but my next RC4WD will be the 4 Runner. Thanks for the video. I’m liking this style of video.

I've had my eye on the FMS for a bit and I'm hoping for a sale...... even though it's already $150 cheaper than the RC4wd. The FMS is 4" longer than the RC4WD and 1.5" wider. I think it's about the same scale as the now discontinued 1/6 MB Scaler. Also, I think it looks just as good as the MB Scaler and I think they would make good trail partners. 🤓

Fms larger rigs are 1/7th on 1/10 chassis. Put a set of ar60s in the mashigan and lets just say it looks normal. Rc4wd makes cool bodies, debating if I want their bully axles for moa build.

I remember when this came out and I was running scale comps... word was that this was going on the tried and true chassis so figured it would be epic. Then when it showed up to compete... holy... much bigger than it should have been. What about that current version on RC4WD... think it might be better?

It reminds me of someone having a cartoonish large head. 😂 None the less I like it maybe putting a driver in it may help the looks. I’d love to see the Gen 8 V2 out someone had their Marksmen out & it motivated me to get mine out & it was a blast. I do have the Gen 8 & the FMS 10 Blazer & the FMS without the top looks disproportionate I purchased mine to be a full time Blazer & it looks pretty good. But I’m staring to think the New FMS 10 Brazer maybe the ultimate trail truck. The steering servo went out in mine about the 5th time out so you have to replace it asap. Looking pretty Crawly out on the property. 👍

Good video, some people put music during their runs, it’s their channel , their choice. The problem is that some people don’t like the music, and you can’t hear the truck. You’re right about the stock set up, it’s not horrible but I’ve gotten used to Fusion products and the performance they have is addictive. I have the fusion pro in my FMS fj40 and it’s fun, but I can appreciate not making the cheap truck expensive !! Thanks Gerry , great channel 👍

Once again, perfect video and tutorial, explaining to people how things work a lot of the stock electronics parts and wheels that most of the vehicles come with Work ! They are wonderful as opposed to the 80s and 90s. Everybody wants everything real fast and right now they just need to slow down and take the time.! and things will work themselves out!

Some of the most interesting & entertaining RC videos are all with commentary. I like to hear what your running & what work your done to it & also on. One technical spots it’s also nice to hear what it’s doing or not doing. Keep it up now that the course is dry it’s the perfect time to get the FMS 10 Brazer. It’s amazing we’ll priced & I’d love to see & hear your feedback on it. 👍

I think I'd like the skock electronics.I think they do a good job, The stock tires are interesting Because I've been running my Atlas around and I think they're getting softer.They're kind like the TRX4 They get softer when you use them ,, True, when you use the TXR4 tires running around, they get softer with age.

I still think it's a $250.00 PoS. The only good thing is, it looks good. Their newest 1/10 scale vehicle, the FCX10 Chevy K5 Blazer is way better than the Atlas, it does cost more, but performs tons better.
