The name is so weirdly perfect. It sounds menacing, but at the same time you wouldn't think it fits him at a glance or in behavior because he's just so goofy-looking regardless of the carnage he leaves behind. But the exact definition of turmoil isn't just "scary and oppressive time", it's specifically "A moment of confusion or uncertainty". And what's more fucking confusing and uncertain than an animal with the body of a man that knows its hungry but can't ever satisfy itself?

Moreso is the aspect of how he came into existence. "Turmoil" ate Yoshi's mushroom (something about code or DNA, I assume the former), causing... this mess. Not only does it have Mario's sense of lawfulness, with the sentience to right and wrong, but he also has Yoshi's primal hunger to eat anything and everything - resulting in this mess. And... he's also blind, relying on echolocation. What can you say about someone messed up in so many ways?

0:50 the instrumental on that part is soo...good! I can't even describe the feeling. The rest of the music after this part mentioned is also great. The instrumentals somehow gives a odd feeling that clearly fits with the ambience and the situation. The choice of the SMW sound effects makes the thing even more enjoyable.

Turmoil is basically Mario who ate a tainted mushroom infused with Yoshi's code, and turned into what you see in the song. He has an untamable hunger and only eats Bowser's enemies, and not humans like Luigi, Peach, etc. (That's the reason why Bf's a Goomba in the song.) According to the creator of Turmoil, he's blind, can run on all 4s at 40mph, and uses echolocation and his sense of smell to get around and find enemies. I'm pretty sure he's a Creepypasta. Basically Mario was walking through a forest and found a strange mushroom so he ate it little did he know it had yoshis code in it so he basically fused with yoshis code and became what he is now the mushroom made him blind but he’s gained incredible hearing and smell he can run at 40mph on all fours and he only eats bowsers minions as he stated to Luigi in a comic so if you were to approach him you wouldn’t be a threat to him

@@Gateco_Ripthere is more but the rest is bit unknown and decisive. Yoshi Mario (aka Turmoil) isint a villain. More of misunderstod Anti Hero. Mario consumed a Corrupted mushroom that took an apearance of a regular mushroom however in reality contained parts of Yoshis Code. Upon eating the mushroom Mario turned into Turmoil and it gave him the powers of Yoshi (long tongue and ability consume enemies) but due to its corrupted nature it also in turn turned him blind and morphed his mind to become more like that of an animal just like Yoshis, He doesent have any ill will towards anyone else other than Bowser and his minions. Only reason he attacks Bf is because he litereally cant see that BF isint Hostile towards him and because BF has taken a form of a gomba wich are bowsers minions. So he just senses and hears the voice of a gomba near him and attacks it. His methods are brutal and he enjoys tormenting Mushroom Kingdoms enmies. But he does also genuently thinks hes just protecting the kingdom and being a good guy. So yeah Turmoli is combination of Marios dislike of bowser and his minions but will to do good and save everyone combined with Yoshis animalistic nature of eating those who are hostile towards it yet still being kind Hearted. In result we get TURMOIL a Animalistic Humanoid whos loyal to the kingdom and his friends but his dislike of bowser and nature to eat his enemies. So... yeah aslong as youre human and not a Gomba, Bowser, Koopa, Wiggler, etc. You and Turmoil whould get along.
