When I First Heard The Song Back Then I Thought It Was For Some Random Character With a Deep Voice. However When The Leaked Build Came Out It Was For Turmoil Which I Got a Little Suprised. Since I Was Like Wth Turmoil? What Is He Doing In MM? I Didn't Expect Him To Be The Character In Last Course Since I Thought It Was For Like a Returnal Of Ink Bowser But Boy Was I Wrong.

Personally If you ask me I really enjoy the newer one more but I really like his design here! The way he uses his cape as a hood is a really creative approach! I think I prefer original mainly because chromatics are so much better and how it sounds more modernized/updated. But that’s just me I think.

This isnt an "old look", he never had the cape in the mod or in his sprites, this is art his creator posted on twitter a good while ago, you can even still see this look for his freeplay portrait

truthfully, i do prefer the newer one, where this one feels more...menacing, the newer one sounds more chaotic and feral, which i think suits him a bit more. alongside him looking more feral in general. also i like bf's voice, i can imagine a goomba bf singing this, but i think the newer one just sounds more goomba-like. all in all, i think its a good song, but its competing with peak.

I'm not sure I'm getting Music Theory correctly, but this version quoting Forest Of Illusion theme directly kinda makes me feel like both this and the final version of this song is contantly in the same chord progression of the quoted melody. Like at any moment in the final version the FOI theme can come in like it did in the old. I don't know if is true or is just vibes from me

I'd assume not, sense vocals were changed because of the change in composers. The song was likely always Galoomba BF. (Sad to say cause GF really didn't get much time in the spotlight in the mod)

Can we not kid ourself and say that this song is better then the new one..? I know the composer did bad stuff but can we atleast not associate the work with the composer atleast once? Turmoil’s chromatic sounds like a chronic smoker in the new one and Galoomba boyfriends chromatic is so overpowering and goofy. I think this song flows better and sounds more menacing with their chromatic which is basically what it should strive for.

If i am being honest, Turmoil's voice sounds a bit like Starved's chromatics without any effects on and pitched down, still an amazing song nontheless. Shame about the creator getting into drama though
