If you like the 2f would you recommend sticking with that trying a 2f stiff or trying out the new duel reflex... I’ve used a duel 2 but didn’t like it. Thanks!

Based on the new plastic in the head, would you say if flex’s and acts similar to the SK MII and it’s counterpart the MII Stiff or is this a completely different head?

Alejandro totally different

Hey Greg I am looking for your master class on SNG's, But I cant seem to fine it on First Class Lacrosse am I missing a link or something? Also I wanted to ask what are the best drills to build technique and speed are. Should you just practice with REPS on and keep working on the same motion or should you do certain drills to help build technique and speed? Thanks Again Greg!

What meshes do you recommend for a FOSO and a LSM that would work with the reflex.
@turtle_60673 жыл бұрын
I’ve been using my weapon x for 2 years. Not straight 2 years as I had off season abd didn’t do faceoffs but it is broken in. I was just wondering if this or the weapon x? I use mostly plunger but first step counters as well

What's your stringing pattern? Having a hard time finding a pattern for a player that does FOSO and LSM.

I have cracked x3 Duel Reflex heads relatively quickly. They are cracking in the top sidewall (the support cross-piece where Greg has his shooting strings attached). I put hundreds of reps through each before they are game-ready, but they last less than 10 games each (150-200 FOs before they break) once they see game time. Anyone else having these issues or any suggestions on why they are breaking the sidewall? Too many break-in reps, too few? Bad luck? Thanks!

I've had the head but only have done about half a season with it. i haven't had any sidewall breakage

Will the new rule effect HS and pro face offs?
@stringevo134 жыл бұрын
Won't affect pro, but HS rules tend to follow NCAA after a few year delay. Very possible if the rule stays in NCAA it will change for HS as well.

Hey Greg, I’m a rising sophomore and I’ve been using the OG duel since 7th grade and I have to buy a new head once again and I’m wondering if I should switch it up and either buy the duel 2 or the reflex. I do not use SNG in game often at all. What are your thoughts?

Jimmy Somerville I was in your shoes a couple years ago, the best advice I could give you is try a 2f. I was a strictly duel only and I tried the duel 2 and after a few draw days and a few live sessions the duel 2 was toast. Switching to a 2f will take a week or so to change over to but it’s very forgiving and if you start to add some sng into your game the 2f is wonderful for that as well. My game has changed so much over the past three years. I went from a duel then a ceo, then a 2F, then a duel 2, then a weapon x, and finally a Burn FO. The new duel is much stiffer and for a reason.

Max Movshin My son who is also a rising sophomore uses the 2F and a Duel 2. At this time he prefers the Duel 2 but is excited to see the Duel Reflex coming out because of the warping. He is a middie who takes FOs so he is getting familiar with SNG. Can you explain why you were recommending the 2F?
@maxmovshin98754 жыл бұрын
westsidewil Sorry it’s a bit later than I expected but the reason for a 2F is because of the versatility. Once you have solid clamp the head is so hard to rake against. Taking face offs now means you’re a field player as well and having a solid head that’ll bend in any way you put it and also stay solid for field play is unbeatable. Being able to knife in with the 2f and slip under neath your opponents top sidewall is also a huge advantage to this head. If your son is more speed than power the 2f will fit amazingly. If he tends to grind more for those 50/50 maybe the duel reflex is where he needs to be. A bonus to the 2f is the stringing capability, if playing field means you need to be able to shoot and pass tuning your pocket to your playing style is more important than tuning your pocket to what the head limits you to. I’ve leaned more towards a fogo only so I’m testing out different heads to fit my style with face off only and being able to shoot here and there with it. Some heads to consider if your son is also playing field may be the weapon x, or the burn fo. Out of those two my favorite is the burn, no discredit to the weapon x. But the burn just encapsulates the ball in its throat and with the right sidewalk staying solid it’s wide enough for field play all the time.

I’ve used the duel one and two all throughout high school and college and would say that I would not play with it in college but high school I would say go for it.

I don’t hate the SNG only rule I just think it’s a lazy solution to a problem that doesn’t really exist.
