Well, this can not be a way to demonstrate a such advanced monitoring system, to record (with unknown mics) and compress and serve from youtube. But, it is so obvious for a listener that can evaluate degrade in listening that, SM9 is great and this guy is rich enough.

no the SM9 is dead quite at idol, same for all focal monitors.

oliver bell not true. ALPHA 80 and also CMS line has hiss. and my Genelec G Five has no hiss at all.

Ágoston Berkó True. It's not really hiss though, just the small noise floor of the monitors. It's normal and can only be heard with your ear right next to the speaker.

phototristan yes noise floor ... you are right. but SM9 is a $$$$. should be non existant at this price range. Genelec is great and sounds fantastic. ATC is noiseless. Thats the reference. Event Opal has also "hissing". Pretty sad.

The speakers are reversed. It is recommended that the tweeters go ti the sides whenever possible.

Great song sounds great on my Sveda Blipo, Focals Trio 6 be and this model looks also as great speakers..
